As the sun starts to peek out from around the dark winter clouds it is a clear reminder that brighter days lie ahead. Brewed with pale & wheat malts for a refreshing backbone & hopped with some bright citrusy American hops this beer will help you fight off the sun all season long.

draft @ kisco holiday inn - hazy yellow with aromas of spice, citrus and wheat; mild tartness, but generally a smooth, tasty summer ale

Sunny golden body with a three finger tapped white head. Sure, I note the citrus and light spice, all very subtle. A real fine summer white beer.

Growler filled at Superstar Beverage in Huntington. Pours a clear gold with a thin-moderate white head that lasted through the first third of the glass. Pleasant aroma of wheat, coriander, and orange. The flavor is equally good with again wheat, coriander and orange. Medium bodied. A refreshing, solid wit.

draft from the brewery has a light straw color with some light sediment suspended. aroma is wheat, light spices, floral, and faint citrus. flavor is good but again more wheat beer than anything else, spice, citrus zest, but seems a little grainy. an easy to put down summer beer.

Dract at CL. Nothing wrong with this wit. Pours a light yellow hazy body. Some spices, orange peal, other citrus flavors and wheat. No abv or real hop character. not bad.

Disappointed with this brew from Capt. Lawrence although I think the bar didnít do it justice serving this as warm as they did. Wasnít crisp, didnít have much Wit characteristics. I didnít know it was a Wit until I came to RB to add my rating (I wasnít sure what it was when I ordered). Sounds like others had a better experience but I didnít find this to be a beer I would order again.

Draft at BT. Clean and refreshing. Maybe a little bit too carbonated but it was great yesterday when it was 92 degrees here. The spice notes and citrus components were balanced enough for me.

um i guess its ok but maybe not my style. just malt and very little hop presence save for the initial touch of citric twinge. the coriander does provide a touch of bitter in this case. more wheat than white.

On tap at the brewery. Strong wheaty nose. Hopy palate although not bitter in any way. Crisp and refreshing. Malty. Realy not to complicated of a beer. A little too one dimensional.

Had on tap at the brewhouse. For a witbier, this was pretty far from being white. I would have classified it as just a wheat ale. It was lightly citric with a full, wheaty nose. Coriander and clove-like spice were also apparent. The flavour was actually crisp and actually refreshing. A nice honey malt backbone balanced out grassy, herbal hops and subtle spice. It was surprisingly medium bodied with gentle, tingly carbonation.
