As the sun starts to peek out from around the dark winter clouds it is a clear reminder that brighter days lie ahead. Brewed with pale & wheat malts for a refreshing backbone & hopped with some bright citrusy American hops this beer will help you fight off the sun all season long.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2014 Bottle. Nose is lightly wheaten with strong tangerine and some lemon, pours yellow-golden with fair carbonation and a sudsy bright white head. Thin, mildly flat light body is very dry with light resin, light-medium bitterness, no sour tang, and only a small and gentle wave of wheat. Lemon strongest but with occasional jabs of tangerine - a good reference point for Sorachi Ace. Smooth and satisfying lawnmower beer, otherwise a bit underwhelming. [2014.03.13: 3.2]

Definitely better on a warmer day, loving the firmer soft bitterness and increasingly apparent mango and passionfruit flavors [2014.04.28: 3.4].

Tap. Pours a clear yellow gold body with a small frothy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is fairly bright citrusy hops with a light wheat malt base, no yeast. Some light floral notes as well. The flavor is light and airy with minimal bitterness but plenty of hop flavor. Floral and citrusy with a lingering bitter finish. Light bodied and very easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice, very drinkable and thirst quenching.

Butterscotch pour with a nice topper. Fresh APA type hops, with pine, a little lime, and floral scents. The taste is equally attractive - a light, cidery sourness, pine, lime, and some bready tones. This is a superb and unusual wheat ale. The summery name belies its strength and style.
