Bottle @ home via trade with pineypower. Thanks so much! Pours a dark rust orange appearance with a foamy, cream colored head. Very spicy, pear/apple, chewy, toasty malty aroma. A bit thin. Cinnamon, apple, toasted malty, light caramel, a bit smoky, light citrusy flavor. Not my favorite but a cool beer.

Bottle. Pours an attractive amber color with a moderate off white head. Aroma is of gingerbread, cinnamon, caramel, toffee, light dried fruit. Taste is much the same, decent balance of spices, brown sugar, cinnamon, spice cookie, toffee and some light bitterness in there also.

12oz bottle via 6pack from the brewery during the Rosso release. Poured a clear deep orange/amber with an average sized foamy super light beige head. Aroma is spicy and nutty at first, brown bread, cinnamon and chocolate. Thinner bodied with average carbonation and a watery mouthfeel. Flavor of light winter spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, medium toast, light touch of nuts. Solid enough to drink a few during the Christmas season while hanging out with family and friends (assuming you have either).

Sampler at the brewery. Pour has an amber color and a thin off white head. Aroma has spices, grains, and malt. Mouth feel is medium and good carbonation. Flavor has spices, snappy grains, and malt.

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with a thin, quickly fading head. Aromas of caramel, toast. Initial flavor tangy, salty buoyed by a healthy carbonation. Aftertaste evolves nicely. This one’s for sipping by the fire.

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a clear deep golden-orange with an average size long-lasting frothy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and vegetal along with lightly toasted malt, some spices and fruit. Flavour is malty along with light spices, some light sugary sweetness, some vegetal notes and light hops. Average to medium bodied. Disappointing really, I was expecting much better, it’s just O.K.

clear amber with some creamy white head. spicy nose, yeast, candy sugar, clove, malt. Sweet flavor, candy sugar, clove, black pepper, brown sugar, roasted beets. sticky, sweet finish.

Pours copper with tan head. Smell malty with a little spice. Taste is clean malts, a bit of caramel and spice. med light bodied. Clean malty after taste. Spices are very light, but it is still a good brew.
