draft at the brewery during 5 year release. pour has a light golden amber color wit a thin coating of white foam. aroma has light spices, mild hops, and some sweetness. mouth feel is on the light side and there is ample carbonation. flavor gets a bit more rye but still not pronounced, light citrus hops, some sweetness, and a light peppery spice. almost a twist on the kolsch they do.

Pale amber pour. The aroma is a little bit spicy. There is a bit of vegetal character that I’m not a huge fan of. A touch of spice and some soft hoppiness. Meh - a pretty by the number example.

Growler thanks to ubufan2112. Served in a tulip.
Pours a light apricot color with a bit of haze. A nice, fluffy white head persists for a bit and leaves behind some streaky lacing. The nose is really light. There’s a touch of light fruit and spice, though not too much else. Light, but pretty good. The flavor is light as well. I got a bit of apricot and other stone fruits as well as a dusting of rye spice. Mouthfeel is light and a bit creamy. Nothing too special about this but it went down quite smoothly.

On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a hazy orange gold with standard white head. Aroma has some banana and wheat covered by an odd vegetal quality, sort of like edamame. Flavor has spicy rye notes and yeast with a pinch of white sugar. Low spice in the finish with wheat, sugar, and pepper. Did not do a whole lot for me, to be honest.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Golden pour with white head. Light rye and some mild earthy hop tones. Very drinkable, lighter flavor than I was expecting in a winter brew.

On tap. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and sweet malt. Flavor of bready sweet malt, light fruits. I really don’t get any rye notes and overall I thought this was pretty bland...not a fan.

Overall not a bad tasting session rye. Not a ton of rye but there is a nice graininess and a hint of spice from the rye. Aroma has a bit of bread, wheat, and faint spice. Flavor has a touch of clean hops adding just a touch of bitterness. Light and very drinkable.

Sample from growler. Clear golden amber pour, white head. Bready malt, light fruit, faint rye malt, and a bit of sweet caramel. Not much to this one.
