Commercial Description:
This beer is an American adaptation to the classic Belgian style of beer known as a Tripel. Historically Tripels were brewed to have a very light golden color, a moderate hop presence, and be around 9% alcohol. But we are not in Belgium, so I decided to crank up the hops, dry hop the beer with American Amarillo hops, and brew it to 10% ABV. This is our American Tripel, enjoy. Sensory Profile: Enjoy in a goblet or wine glass. Tropical fruit and honey are the two biggest aromas coming from this lively brew. While the hop bitterness is not as powerful as an IPA, the hop flavor melds nicely with the fruity flavors created by the imported Belgian yeast strain used. Food Pairing: This beer goes great with roasted vegetables, fish and rotisserie chicken. And it can be used as a aperitif before dinner with shrimp cocktail.

Pours with a cloudy, golden body topped by a medium thick, white head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet with notes of honey and a nice grassy bitter note. Medium body, well carbonated and warming.

Thoe color is a bit a clear with orange tints with some suspended matter but not much. There is a thin head the stays atop the tulip glass with some spotted lacing along the sides. The nose has an extreamly overwhelming pineapple esters with a strong hop finish. You can reall smell the pine and citrus hops with other tropical hints. The flavor has a strong initial hop bitterness as well as booze all over the tounge and side walls of your mouth. The nice after flavor of tropical fruits mainle pineapple, hints of mango and grapefruit linguired in my mouth long after i had drank the beer. I personally like the honey sweet finish that is just as bitter as the first sip.

Pours a slightly hazed golden colour with a one finger, frothy head that leaves spots of lace. There is a musty, spicy aroma with notes of pine, topical fruit (mostly pineapple ester), clovey yeast and honey, as advertised. The flavour is extermely hoppy compared to traditional tripples, but most american interpretations are. It’s crisp and refreshing, very fruity and has a pleasant bitterness in the finish that isn’t a wallop of hops. It’s medium bodied and effervescently carbonated, but not too much so, like Duvel, for example. Very nice offering from my local brewery.

Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, brett, musty, and peppery hops. Flavor is malty, grainy, wheaty, brett, and a dry, peppery hop finish.

Objectively speaking: Grainy, very fresh, delicate, floral and lean tripel. Very drinkable.
I like: Clean yeast profile. Esters and amarillo are well blended to the point of being easily confusing in their soft citrus influences (think mandarine, tangerine, peaches). Beautiful soft pils malt- crisp and honeyed. Very fresh smelling. Well integrated american hops, fairly bitter, but certainly not astringent. Hugely drinkable, light-medium body, crisp and engaging carbonation.
I dislike: Clear appearance. Not that it is overwhelming with its alcohol - it does not feel like 10%, but as a consequence to this very lean body, I found it a bit overly alcoholic/grainy in the finish.

Pours clear, light gold, with a lively, massive head. At least three inches of dense white froth settle down slowly, revealing some beautifull lacework. A singular strand of minute orbs relentlessly ascend from the bottom of the tulip glass. Aromatics are filled with fruit, vanilla, and warming alcohol. A kiss of malt and honey finish through, along with a minerally nod. The classic Belgian triple nose paired perfectly with fresh peaches and tangerines. Wowza. The mouthfeel is crisp and creamy, with vibrant carbonation. Tropical fruits and phenols dominate the pallet, with warming alcohol following closely behind. Exeptionally dry and fruity. Bitterness is firm and smooth, but not overbearing. Most of the hopping is in the flavoring and aromatics. Alcohol is warming, and the beer is a bit big for style...Perfect! Finishes with lingering orange, peach, and marmalade melange, some minimal lingering heat, with a faint vanilla note. Probably the best domestic triple I’ve ever had.

Bottle (2006). Hazy yellow and golden in colour with a medium sized white head. Mlaty with a strong honey sweetness - notes of yeast, spices and fruit. Way too carbonated.

Thanks to Padrefan98 for sharing. Pours light amber with lots of carbonation and a decent head. Aroma of light fruit and some bread. Flavors of dough, some brett sourness, and over-ripe pear.
