Commercial Description:
This beer is an American adaptation to the classic Belgian style of beer known as a Tripel. Historically Tripels were brewed to have a very light golden color, a moderate hop presence, and be around 9% alcohol. But we are not in Belgium, so I decided to crank up the hops, dry hop the beer with American Amarillo hops, and brew it to 10% ABV. This is our American Tripel, enjoy. Sensory Profile: Enjoy in a goblet or wine glass. Tropical fruit and honey are the two biggest aromas coming from this lively brew. While the hop bitterness is not as powerful as an IPA, the hop flavor melds nicely with the fruity flavors created by the imported Belgian yeast strain used. Food Pairing: This beer goes great with roasted vegetables, fish and rotisserie chicken. And it can be used as a aperitif before dinner with shrimp cocktail.

Bottle in trade. Hummm. Cloudy and a light golden color. Immensely carbonated, so much so that I had time to grow a full beard before the head dissapated enough for me to not be suffocated by the foam as I raised the glass to my mouth. Man, I think this was kind of a mangled mess of sorts. if you asked me" what do ya’ smell?" I mind say: I have no idea. Taste is very alcohol-y

Bottle. Clear golden color with a huge head. Fair retention, spare lacing. Aroma is yeast and undetermined fruit; maybe citrus and pineapple come close to start. Grapefruit come through in the taste, as does so much other fruit, some sweet malt and a bit of yeast. Bitter finish. A touch warm. Very fine tripel.

Thanks to SecretSanta. Golden orange pour with a huge white head. Aromai s belgian spice, sugar and very phenolic yeast. Flavor is dominated by the spicy yeast with candi sugar, lemon, orange, coriander and a ton of wheat. Very spicy and phenolic with the yeast dominating this beer.

I thought this was an excellent variation of a tripel. Popped the cap and it started to gush a little bit. Aroma was really hoppy and had some lemony citrus to it. Flavor was intesnse but light at the same time. Flavorful but still dry enough to keep your mind off the sweetness. Pretty tastey beer.

Decent sized head of fine off white bubbles. Awesome carbonation that keeps a thin head on the brew for the duration! Nice and fruity aroma with some pears, lemon, spicy herbal notes and some dry malts. Color is a dark gold. Big alcphol presence in the flavor. Warms big time. Sweetand malts with more herbal hops notes and lemon. On the dry side with some fruit just not as much as the aroma. Dry and pasty finish with a good lingering bitterness. A damn good and powerful triple.

750mL, no date. Hazy golden with a two finger frothy white head, pretty good retention. Nose of pineapple, banana, apricot, as well as white pepper, some citrus and herbal hops, with a good amount of Belgian yeast in the background. Doesn’t smell all too sweet. Flavor is quite tasty will a stronger hop presence (bitterness and flavor) than the aroma led on. Still quite fruity, and the Belgian yeast still hangs in the background. Semi dry finish with bitterness peaking around a 5 (out of 10). Alcohol is present in the flavor and in the back of the throat, though never detracts from the beer itself. Highly carbonated with a medium to full body. An excellent hoppy tripel.

Bottle. Though not typical of most tripels I’ve had, this stuff ain’t bad. I get a lot more fruits in this, like a fruit salad really. In fact, too many fruits that I’d like in this style. It’s dry and not too sweet. It sort of reminds me of the pineapple in his Cuvee. Great appearance in the glass.
