COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is an American adaptation to the classic Belgian style of beer known as a Tripel. Historically Tripels were brewed to have a very light golden color, a moderate hop presence, and be around 9% alcohol. But we are not in Belgium, so I decided to crank up the hops, dry hop the beer with American Amarillo hops, and brew it to 10% ABV. This is our American Tripel, enjoy. Sensory Profile: Enjoy in a goblet or wine glass. Tropical fruit and honey are the two biggest aromas coming from this lively brew. While the hop bitterness is not as powerful as an IPA, the hop flavor melds nicely with the fruity flavors created by the imported Belgian yeast strain used. Food Pairing: This beer goes great with roasted vegetables, fish and rotisserie chicken. And it can be used as a aperitif before dinner with shrimp cocktail.

This beer was great. It had a great balance of malts and hops, with a wonderful honey taste to it. More than that, it packs a kick to it. Really good.

A bit medicinal for a Belgium tripel style. Pretty clear hay notes, vey strong alcohol flavor.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with minimal white head. Aroma of fruit, Belgian yeast and a little burnt diesel. Taste is light bitter. Earthy herbal and citrus with Belgian yeast and some butterscotch. Full bodied with a somewhat thin and slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, pretty darn good.

Golden very sweet buttery roses oily butterscotch fusels acetone. Arg. Poison. Tasting with friends. Why am I the last to drainpour? Awful.

Bottle. Poured golden with off-white head that went away quickly. Nose was hops yeasty malt, spicy in the white peppery sense. Tasted hopcitric, dry, with finishing spiciness, florals, and hops.

2006 vintage. Hazy golden-orange with a ton of floaties. Excellent aroma - floral, orange juice, lychee. Flavour - not as good, bit past it's prime, but still some nice lychee notes and moderate sweetness. Quick finish with nice pineapple juice notes. Ended up enjoying it more than I expected from first impressions.

Bottle share thanks to beechner224. Pours a lightly hazy light orange. Sweet malty Belgian yeast aroma. Sweet, crisp, malty, Belgian yeast phenolics with some booze in the back.

Bottle from beernut a long time ago. Pours golden with little white head. Aroma of mild hops. Some sweetness. Belgium yeast. Taste is light, fruity, a bit spicey. Tasty beer.

On tap at the Blue Monkey. Aroma is light grass, a little banana, citrus, and fresh rolls. Pours golden with a nice fluffy head and a wispy film after. Taste is great citrus, grass, slight wheat, banana, pineapple, and a nice bready finish. Drank two in a row and only then discovered the 10%. Delicious triple.

On-tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Slightly hazy golden hue with a short white head, poor retention. It settles in a slightly bubbly edge.
Aroma: Some sulfur, some booze, some lemon and orange, and hints of Belgian yeast.
Taste: Mildly sweet malty intro that builds, slight yeasty spice by the mid-taste with a hint of oranges. The finish shows some booze. Not my favorite triple.
Palate: Full-bodied and moderately carbonated.
Overall: There’s something about the yeast profile that throws me off. I don’t dislike it, but I’d take other tripels over it.
