Smells quite sour and weird. Looks like a typical pilsener. Tastes like water and malts. No alcohol noticable. Boring.

Aroma is sour malts on the nose, not bad really. Yellow body, some head as far as I can tell from the can. Flavour is malt, burnt caramel, wood. Okay mouthfeel. Really not that bad for a macro pilsner. Worth getting wasted on.

Couple of those and I’ll have stomach reflux. Yeah , it’s mostly metallic taste overpowers old bread malts and bitter hops leaving a sour acid aftertaste. Buerk.

Yellow and clear. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Aroma of odd malts and faint alcohol. Flavor starts light sweet and finish sharp bitter. Dry texture and lively carbonation.

Served chilled from a 330ml can, 4.7% abv, that I picked up at a local kiosk. Slowly fading, white head, clear, yellow-gold body. Smell of sour malts. Vile taste of vegetables mixed with some kind of sweetness. Very dry. Drain pour (hotel room, Brussel 06.05.2011).

It’s too easy to say this is a horrible beer. Yes, it is metallic, brew malts sweet, watery and tastes a little oxidised. And for sure it doesn’t deserve to be called ’premium’ beer, but it’s very affordable, so it has it’s appeal to hordes of youth in Belgium and the border areas.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2011 Can from some night store in Leuven, 0.5 Euro there, found it for 0.35 elsewhere. Ye gods. Anyway, golden body, pale, thick white head. Crappy vegetabley nose. Random malty bad taste with a crude, bad bitter finish. A little too sweet too. Blah<br
Note: Can says EMB54115D, so it’s brewed at Champigneulles now.

Can from local super in Brussels. Yellow fizzy body with quickly-receding rocky head. Nose is very skunky. Taste is of corn and mainly water. Some malts in the finish. Very thin with little to no flavour. Gets a bit more metallic as we move along. But altogether okay in my impression.
