50 cl. can thx! to Kraddel for this one – finally ticked this one. Cara pils is the official drink of the alcoholics, impoverished, drug addicts, misfits, etc. in Belgium mainly due to being crazily cheap. Without a deposit a crate of this is slightly above 3 euro’s which makes this cheaper than buying water at the supermarket. Bright, clear, golden, urine-coloured with little brief white head. Musty, wet corn in the nose, hay, dirty water, rotting lemon,… Watery, corn wet and dusty, rotting hay, light rotting, touch metallic, rotting lemon, expired medication, unnerving bitterness,… bitter disgusting aftertaste. Wattery. Not very good, touch better than expected.

Haha thought i rated this a long time ago ? Apearently not .. Yes , i seriously did used to drink this . Its cheap , and no matter its reputation , its not that bad for a pils. In blind tastings this one ALWAYS ends up high .. Drink it realy cold, yhough! It has more and better taste than jupiler for instance. Yes , i AM serious with these lines and these points i gave

Pale golden color with a white head. Tons of corn and a bit of pale malt sweetness. Some straw and grass on the nose. Pretty watery, too. A bit sour on the palate. Somewhat sweet, corn, pale malt, and plenty of water. Definitely some straw and grass. Light yeast and esters. Not horrible, just really bland and watery.

Pours pale golden with a high but light head. Aroma and flavor are mostly grassy malts. Quite light. Easy to drink, easy to forget.

Clear golden colour with medium white head. Aroma and flavour of malt and hops with a bitter finish.

4.7% cold colour with a very thin head, malt aroma , slightly bitter malt taste.

50cl can that you can share with any drunk guys along the benches of Brussels train stations or at any student beer pong days. In my village, it is easily enjoyed by the welfare free loaders who camp outside my minimart all day long. Hooray for democratic price, cheap buzz at 26 cents a can. Une pils typique, avec un plus pour nous mettre en bouteille de l’eau de brassin et une pointe d’alcool.

Can. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bread, grain, malt and notes of hops. Medium carbonation and thin bodied.
