Yellow and clear. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Aroma of odd malts and faint alcohol. Flavor starts light sweet and finish sharp bitter. Dry texture and lively carbonation.

As far as I know, this is the cheapest beer that can be purchased in Belgium. Of course, as cheap as it is, it still tastes better than the cheapest beers available in America. It is a standard pilsener that tastes like the can that it was brewed in. At least it costs only 1 euro for a pounder.

Can. Very standard beer. More sweet than hoppy, so watery. Nothing interesting. For very thirsty people only.

This looked so horrible, I just had to buy it. Aroma is metallic with a touch of cleaning agent. Flavour is bland and watery with a touch of malt and metal. I expected worse.

Can, 33 cl. Let’s start rather positively: the beer looks good: golden, celar colour, with many bubbles rising and a little dirty white to grey, but stable head. If you smell you encounter a grainy, but also a malty smell. But the smell is and strange and unfresh. Than the taste: if you ever wondered what you would experience if you take a glass of beer, fill it for the half with beer and the other half with water, well, I think Cara Pils comes very close to that experience. The taste is light grainy, but flat and... watery. There is some dryness, but a bad one. But the overall taste you have is beer dilluted with water. Maybe refreshing, but as a beer you can’t get away with that, even if the taste isn’t ’bah!’ like I had with the (Dutch) Kaiser Pils. Let’s say it’s a bad but in the end drinkable beer.

Can from local super in Brussels. Yellow fizzy body with quickly-receding rocky head. Nose is very skunky. Taste is of corn and mainly water. Some malts in the finish. Very thin with little to no flavour. Gets a bit more metallic as we move along. But altogether okay in my impression.

33 cl can, bougth at nigth shop in Oostende. Golden color, disappering white head. Aroma is sweet grainy. Flavor is grainy with some bitterness and a sweet finish. Boring.
