UPDATED: JUN 23, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a fine, small creamy head. Very mild and easy to drink without much hoppiness. Extremely easygoing but at the same time completely lacking personality. The type of beer to be thrown down your throat from a plastic glass while watching you favourite soccer team beat Brøndby yet again. 050802

Bottle at the Zurich airport lounge labeled Cardinal Lager Classique. Pours a pale golden with a soapy rapidly dissipating, off-white head. Some faint grassiness in the aroma. Body is very light, fizzy. Little flavor to this one.

1L bottle "big brown." Nice after a long hike in the mountains. I didn’t find anything special in this beer, alough i wasn’t looking for it.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, cardboard and metal. Medium-bodied; Sharp metallic taste and some light hop and citrus notes, but way more malt, cardboard and metal tastes than anything else. Aftertaste isn’t horribly bitter, but not super fresh and clean. Overall, not a great beer - but you could expect that just from looking at the can. Decent for a train trip to Italy, which is when I drank it. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from CoOp grocery store in Visp, Switzerland for CHF1,50 sampled a day later on 11-November-2009.

Bottled. A pale yellow coloured lager with a short-lived white head. The aroma is quite corny and far reaching. The taste is also quite corny, but there is a little grassy hop mixed in to differentiate it from really bad lagers.

Golden colour, white head that disappears fast. Malty aroma. Taste is a little grainy and sweet. Well not a very good lager.
