Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Apr 15, 2008 Thanks to Sprinkle for sharing, you’re awesome man Pours a hazy orange color with a big, frothy, off-white head that diminishes quickly in a whisky glass. Aroma is fruity with traces of hops and a malty backbone. Notes of orange peel, tangerines and some mango. Taste is surprisingly bitter with hops upfront, lemony, zesty and cedar touches and hints of green apples, lots of smoke and lime. Medium body, smooth, highly carbonated like most Cardos brews. Bitter aftertaste. Well rounded but a bit lacking in balance and complexity.
Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Oct 24, 2007 Thanks to Gustavo, Cardos’ brewer! A rich malty beer with some phenols (intentional, apparently) then a thick bittersweet toasty, bitter, slightly smokey taste. Not really my kind of thing but well made. ghawener (699), San Salvador, El Salvador Mar 30, 2007 Bottle: This is the waitress´ favorite at the Cruzat, a good recommendation. A potent ale with a kick, starts sweet and finishes bitter. Overall a quite good. ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 21, 2007 Bottled. Hazy reddish brown witha white creamy head. Mild aroma of oats, vanilla, cookies and wet grass. Roasted flavour with touches of smoke and vanilla. Short and mild finish of nut shells and cardboard. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 20, 2007 Bottled, thanks Fukito! Hazy ruby, average head. Caramelly and rather sweet, near full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Lightly caramelly with erstrained hop presence and overall rather neutral flavour profile. Low bitterness.
