1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Ungstrup (26267) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2002
A light yellow beer with almost no head. It has an aroma of corn, as if it has been brewed of corn - but the ingredient list disproves this. The aroma could also stem from the clear bottle not protecting the beer. At first it tastes watery, but finishes of on an akward bitter note - if it’s the clear bottle or the hops used I can’t tell but for an IPA lover this doesn’t work. If I ever try this beer again it will be in Trinidad.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving some lacework. Lovely, fresh hop aroma. Medium body with sweet accents of malt and corn. Short, dry finish with a subdued bitterness. For a Pale Lager this really ain’t too bad, and under the Caribbean sun this probably will be a quenching delight. 270207
