Bottle....looks like a bubbly hawaiian punch...pretty pink head that leaves quick....smells like cinnamon....sweet, punchy soda....sweet cinnamon flavors especially in the aftertaste....good as a mixer, or watered down with water...."The shhhhugar causes you to grit the teeth, and then you are able to say shhhandy"....shandy is dandy...shoda with a shhh

Jun 10, 2008 I’m not going to rate this as a beer. I’m going to rate this as a soda. Appearance is red in a clear bottle. Not much aroma. Is basically like the "red hots" candy in liquid form. It’s fun to drink, but like I noted, not in a beerical sense.

May 22, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Body is a downright disturbing shade of red w/ an equally disturbing almost hot pink head. WTF? Aroma is Valentines Day in a glass. Red Hot Hearts anyone? Flavor is very sweet. A bit of cinnamon, some cherry & what I’m guessing is the sorrel. I really want to slam this, but it’s so bizarre that I’m not quite sure what to do w/ it. Is it a beer? I’m not quite sold on that, but I bet this shit would make a bangin’ Icee!

Nov 16, 2007 Bottle. Weird, artificial red color. Very spicy cinnamon like aroma. Doesn’t taste like beer at all. More like a very weak spiced mixed drink or soda. So-so.

Sorrel: in Polish szczaw. Did you ever try Zupa Szczawiowa ? I did so for that reason I grabbed this quirky bottle in my hand…
Appearance :Artificially bloody pink with fizzy white top. For a beer it looks strange to say the least but as a drink , well soda like
Nose :Strong spicy aroma, nutmeg, clove hint of white pepper with caramel dressing.
Flavour/Palate: Aroma pattern closely reflects flavour . Spiced root beer like soda with sweet caramel finish. Hint of cherry sneaks in. Quiet drinkable I must say. Traditionally very little of classic lager character. For a shandy its quiet good.
