2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Amber lager. Strong start leads to herby, grainy and plain aftertaste. Tremendous value for money and comes in quarts which are tremendous fun to drink in Zulu villages.

A local favourite amongst the guys when we go on tour (usually a crate or to of 750ml bottles), has become somewhat of a tradition. Not a bad beer... once you get used to it.

Bottle (actually many of them) in South Africa in Oct 2007. This seems to be the beer of choice among most folks. A mild malt and light lager flavor.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can from South Africa. Pale golden, completely clear, with a vanishing bubbly white head. Grassy aroma, straw. Thin fizzy body with evident adjunct in the flavor, slightly sweet, stale pale malt with no bitterness. An unenjoyable swill.

I think about the only saving factor for this beer is that it is cheap and it has a high alcohol content, otherwise it tastes like urine.
