Bottles enjoyed in campsites in Namibia and Botswana during my safari trip August 2012.Bottles bought in bottle stores.
Aroma is a bit sweet and malty.Medium body and carbonation.Very nice and refreshing beer in my opinion.Looks like the locals love it to.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Iíll give it good on a hot day. Not much flavor, plenty of bubbles, a hint of hops, but no real flavor to speak of.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle@South Africa. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is dry with yeastiness, and the flavour is also dry with yeastiness and some maltyness. Overall a reasonable lager, I am sure it is better than the British version.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drinking from a 340ml bottle. A clear yellow beer with a normal white head that doesnít last long.
Hay and bitter from the hops in the aroma, not so special.
The taste is like any other pilsner, itís medium bitter not much more. High carbonated. Nice beer for a warm day.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Nothing special. Aroma of boiled sweet corn, from the previous day, and a bit of Saaz. Very sweet, cloying, flat, pretty much crap. It could still be saved for a marinade.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Eurolager. Carbonated, without taste brew. Pours golden and has too much carbonation, hence a lot of head which goes away quickly. Nothing special.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden straw with heavy carbonation. Bread, hay refreshing in South African summer but watery and nothing special. Consumed in large volumes in this country and it is definitly quantity rather than quality with this one.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught at Radisson Blu Waterfront, Cape Town. Probably the best ílagerí I had during a recent trip to SA. Which doesnít say a great deal about the others.
