Nice smooth Wisconsin/Canadian bullshit! Runs down my throat pretty easy, and is clear as all can be. Aroma is corn and grass. Wait...why am I rating this. This is a pale lager that is very boring. I don’t know what else to say. I will say it is a bit maltier than other beers, but come on for a Canadian beer that is brewed in the U.S. I am a bit confused. Drink this if you’re looking to get wasted with your friends. $10.99 for a 24 pack, which is pretty good in my opinion. Pipper (245), Ohio, USA

Pretty much tasted like watered down corn but it did the trick and wasn’t overly offensive. Great can aesthetic going on though. 502Flavors (620), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Brewed in Canada rather than in SA, but tastes pretty much the same. A simple run of the mill pale lager. Not the worst and cheap for the liking. IT will always hold a sentimental place in my heart. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Clear golden yellow. White head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of corn. Very fresh and smooth with a nice malty flavour. Not bad, not great. I think it is pretty good as shitty Canadian pale lager goes. pintbypint (1006), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 6, 2009 355ml can. Yeloow colour, retains a small white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavour is cidery - apple sweetness, slightly corny. Ends drier, grainy. No bitterness, no aftertaste. Unexciting. unclemattie (2413), Georgia, USA

Did I only want a rating? Fuck dude, this shit is nasty! Water, rice, a pine cone that was sitting on the ground since last autumn (it is summer now), and an old man’s toenail clippings (for fermentation starter). Gag, then leave the rest for whom ever wants it, or the waitress. And yes, I paid money for this. daknole (2926), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Indeed this is a quality swill, and I’ll buy more in the future. This is the first BL I’ve had since the mid seventies (yeah, I’m THAT old), and damned if I didn’t find it a hell of a lot better now than then. Decent head, even a bit of lacing, colour is not special but the aroma is quite respectably hopped, and the taste/mouthfeel/aftertaste are all quite palatable. Cheers!
