Boystout (900), Chisinau, Moldova Jan 10, 2005 Canned. An average pale yellow lager: sourish and watery, dry and cidery, fizzy and useless… ALyseen (42), Denmark Dec 15, 2004 Tastet in a bar in Wales. Golden color, no head. Fresh sour fruity aroma. Taste is also sour alot of bobbles, malty finish. Not impressing.
Mullo (102), Brisbane, Australia Dec 15, 2004 To be brutal - likesoda water. Very light in body, malt and hops. Lack of miscellaneous flavours and depth. It’s actually the worst beer I have rated. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Dec 10, 2004 The problem with visiting the UK is that you are treated to such great beers. There are so many delicious cask beers and specials around that you can’t help but to be impressed. Then when you walk into Sainsburys because you need some Bovril and a bap you come across this stuff. You buy and know that the expectation of a good beer is as possible as going through the whole week in London without being called Guv’nor by a cabbie at least once. There was an English rugby captain of the same name, but he wouldn’t Will this on anyone surely. AAO (102), Næstved, Denmark Dec 10, 2004 Tastet in a bar in Wales. Golden color, no head. Fresh sour fruity aroma. Taste is also sour alot of bobbles, malty finish. Not impressing. haukur (682), Reykjavik, Iceland Nov 29, 2004 maybe a bit to creamy if something... not offensive, but not very good ... watery Volgon (2487), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Nov 11, 2004 Clear straw with a thin white head. Sweet corn aroma, lightly fizzy watery body, ends slightly sweet and almost dry. Pretty good for a crap lager. This is not a pilsener, BTW. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Oct 15, 2004 Sampled out of a can. Sweet corn flavor with a metallic aftertaste. ratings++;
