shrubber85 (2833), Wallhalben, Germany Aug 6, 2004 Unpleasant sour hops and corn aroma. Pale, piss yellow color. Sour malt and hops flavor - not as bad as it smells. Would be okay as your 7th or 8th beer of the night - just don’t make it your first. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2004 Medium gold pour. Pretty still. Nothing aroma. Gaggingly sweet. Really pretty bad. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA Jun 18, 2004 Can. This is the third beer that I have tried that Kevin42 brought back from a trip to Wisconsin. All three beers taste exactly like this: watery, not much flavor, not bad, but not good. Do people in Wisconsin hate flavor in their beer? This is the best of the three, but that is like saying that this is the best turd in the toilet.... Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Jun 17, 2004 i was warned when i picked this up not to drink too many in one sitting. so i was worried about how bad this would be. it wasn’t as bad as i was lead to believe. better than heilemans by a long shot. but thats not saying much. poured an almost clear yellow similar to white grape juice big fluffy white head. unpleasant raw alcohol aroma. hoppy flavor that is bitter from start to finish, but not in a good way. overall watered down flavor. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA May 31, 2004 i think this was the first beer that i ever drank,,after shooting my first buck in michigan! all i remember is that i thought it was strong strong strong!!
but that was a long time ago. VTHopHead (895), Barre, Vermont, USA May 31, 2004 Bottle - Amber with almost no white head. Some skunkiness with little other aroma. Slightly metallic with a dry/slightly bitter finish. Not a great beer, but my Dad liked it. beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada May 24, 2004 not so good. hard to drink at times. i would not want to drink more than 1 of these in one sitting Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA May 19, 2004 Dry, light hop and skunky aroma. Clear dull amber with no head and no lacing. Watery palate with low carbonation. Dull. Standard lager taste, corny, grainy. Weak sweetness, very little bitterness or acidity. Weak, low hops. Low bitterness overall. Clear glass bottle, too.
