Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 1, 2003 I had this stuff for the first time last night and despite an old bottle, it was not all that bad. I do have to say that the taste was a bit off due to an expired date, but I will have to try it again some time if the chance happens. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 22, 2003 It's drinkable, definitly not the subtle hop bitterness of a good pilsener, more like typical macro light beer. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA Jul 21, 2003 Is this beer? Weak, relatively tasteless and heavy carbonation. Waterey body and light overall. Seems to be targeted to novice drinkers so they get used to beer that doesn't offend their tastebuds. eczematic (1198), Sydney, Australia Jul 15, 2003 can't believe i've neglected to rate this one. i was shocked. one of the worst beers ever anywhere, maybe beaten by UK Carlsberg. it's hard work getting the numbers up sometimes. frogger (36), reston, Virginia, USA Jul 15, 2003 South Africa???? Wasn't this brewed in Wisconsin or Minnesota?
Most recent memory of this: $1 cans during a concert in a Washington DC night club. Some good memories and the beer wasn't bad. But the smell was awful. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Jun 23, 2003 Pours thin orangish yellow. No aroma. No taste. Maybe a subdued malt/alcohol flavor. Hey, at least it dosent taste bad, just no taste. Too much carbonation though. ChrisD (8), Walltham, Massachusetts, USA does not count Jun 23, 2003 This beer has a very solid taste for its price range, rivaled in quality to price ratio only by the mythic Pabst Blue Ribbon. Hell, for $7 you can get yourself a 15-pack that provides more than enough ammo to get you through a solid drinking evening. boto (1319), Granby, Connecticut, USA Jun 5, 2003 Draught version. Typical yellow fizzy in color, but only a little bit of hops to the nose. Typical thin lager, but a hair more taste than the American Macro Swill.
