From can. Would never have rated this but some how ended up with a can in my hand so thought, why not. Metallic typical poor UK lager. However better than expected. Extremely gassy, not the worse lager in the world but very close. Couldn’t help think what chemicals I was consuming when drinking the stuff.

I remember having this when i was in high school, it was one of those party staples, along with Labatt 50. For some reason the people i hung with thought buying all these "old man" beers were cool. I revisited this recently with an uncle of mine. Whoa, why would people subject themselves to this? simple awful, no flavor, just pale fizz yellow water.

Can. Tried in UK. Not so good, but refreshing. Clear shinny yellow color, with some hop aroma and a little sweet flavor.

Rated 2/12/06: This is quality swill in my book. I picked up a twelve pack of cans because I was curious, but also because the price is right. Sampled the first few straight out of the can. I poured one into a glasss so I could look at it. Pours a light gold with little head and awesome carbonation. This is a good looking pale lager. Not much to the aroma of this one, smells slightly malty. Thin mouthfeel, finished very clean. The flavor is the best selling point for this beer. Tastes great compared to most of the other North American Pale Lagers. This one actually tastes better straight from the can. My usual swill is Strohs, but you can be sure that this one will be sharing some shelf space. Great cheap beer!

Now we are in London 10:20 lokal time, and I am having the first beer of this journey. Clear yellow - white head. Dry har, grass, very light malty, citrus, fresh light hoppy, straw.

Can. Brilliant pale golden/yellow body. Head was dying before I reaced to recognize any texture or color. Harsh hop aroma. Sweetish taste. Almost hopless. Quite crisp palate, due to the high carbonation level. Grainy aftertaste with hints of bitterness.

A decent beer. Sampled in London. Not much aroma or color to it, however served cold this is a nice brew on a hot day. Goes down very smooth, recommended if you are looking for a cheap beer.
