It's presence at the hotel bar confirmed my suspicions that during normal times of the year that lots of Brit businessmen stay here. Draft. Yellow, OK head, fizzy. Aroma? Little taste, maybe some faint hops. A tiny bit of metallic bitterness at finish. Boring Euro mass pils. Decided to destroy the rest of this by utterly overwhelming it with a Cohiba. Can is red in color and not the same as the one that is pictured. Very apple juice-like aroma with stale rotten vegetables as well. Fruity esters are also present in the nose. Not pleasant at all. Transparent pale blonde color with quickly dissipating small false white head. Sweet, mildly cereal-like with a bit more roasted malts in the middle than the budweiser I just had. More sweetness to finish. Hops are not present. A bit acetic. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

Head was dying before I reaced to recognize any texture or color. Harsh hop aroma. Sweetish taste. Almost hopless. Quite crisp palate, due to the high carbonation level. Grainy aftertaste with hints of bitterness. cheapdark (2050), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

I’m not sure how this can be Molson since the side of the can says G.Heileman Brewing, Milwaukee, WI 53201. I know Heileman is part of Pabst which is owned by SAB Miller so what’s going on I don’t know. Underneath the black tilted logo it says over a century of international brewing tradition. Also, even tho the logo says Carling Canada, it says product of the USA! Founded in 1840. Confusing!!? Sure is, I think it should be listed under Miller, not Molson. Anywho the big guys say its the same beer as this one so here it goes:
Takes two cans to fill up my 24 oz mug. Barely any visible carbonation in this pale yellow ubiquitous american lager. Aroma is non-offensive and smells like many other pale macro lagers. Pretty good tingly carbonation. Flavor is easy to get along with and rather friendly. Seems to have more alky than the 4% listed here. Not too bitter and has just enough bite to let you know it is beer. Not watered down, good beer body. Nice tingly fine carbonation thru the session. Finish is non offensive and rather refreshing compared to other cheap lagers. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
