tap - hui - flat, pale yellow colored, grainy, kind of cereal taste. Plain - watery herb taste. But all in all disgusting.

On tap at Shannon Airport, 1/28/06: After a pint of Guinness, this was my second rea beer in four months, on my way home from Kuwait. Should’ve stuck with the Guinness. This was yellow and corny and tasted exactly like a stale can of Miller.

Keg: This beer had some black specks in it out of the keg, and tasted like shit. A popular college beer due to its inexpensiveness.

Is this the "Carling" sold all over London at damn near everywhere? Not sure I’m rating the right beer, but... Damn awful shit. There are some quality brews in the UK, but this beer is pervasive and of poor quality. Tastes horrible, couldn’t finish it with Mexican food. Decent color on draft, decent smell, poor flavor and palate. Not recommended.

Poured from the can (as part of a blind lager tast test - probably my worst drinking night ever). Pale and fizzy, with a frothy white head. Metallic and skunkish aroma. Very fizzy with little flavour and a dry metallic residue left in the mouth.. (For the record, and not surprisingly, I got only 1/6).

341ml, bière commerciale sans intérêt pour l’amateur, à une époque la publicité à donné les lettres de noblesse à cette bière blonde, sans houblon, sans malt

Another oldtimer that was less than stellar way back when and hasn’t improved much with age.

Not too fond of Black Label.
