Can shared at Leighton’s. As ’Carling Premier’, 4.7% BB June 2016. Clear yellow, still, big foamy white head. Aroma is corny, cardboard, airy. Crap. Body is medium to light, smooth, light carbonation. Taste is light and watery, corny, cardboard, a hint of malt, watery finish with no real bitterness. Well it doesn’t quite reach the heights of crapness that normal Carling achieves. But it’s still watery and awful.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2016 Can thanks to Dirty Danny. It pours clear rich gold with a small off-white head. The nose is toasty cheap grain, buttered cheap white bread, grain husk, oily, fatty and generic sweetness. The taste is slick, sweet, oily, buttered white bread and burnt plastic, dirty grass with a short, sweetish finish. Medium body, average carbonation and creamy mouth - feel. Fucken fuck.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Daniel. Pours crystal clear gold with a thick, creamy white head. Cheap cereal in the nose, some grain, dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with hints of paper, more cereal, white sugar, grain, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of cereal, crackers, paper, sugar. Pretty classic macro pale lager.

Can ... split at Bespin towers, thanks to very soiled Danny, 21/01/16. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is pale malt, straw, grain, papery notes. Taste comprises much the same, straw, grain, pale malt, papery licks, trace of vanilla. Medium bodied, smooth and massaging on the palate. wooha !

Golden color with a creamy white head. Looks allright. Quite malt dominated beer. Unfortunaltely a very weak flavor. Waterish actually. Would have expected more from a 4,7% beer. Nothing I will recommend.
[Can from ASDA in Liverpool, England]

@Sheffield, pre match beer , Sheffield Wednesday - Leeds United 1-2. Sparkling golden, pale ale malts, yeast, sweet, light body, lots of co2, well it’s drinkable even after the game

Yellow appearance, medium low head. Malty aroma, quite plain. Refreshing, but below average Pale Lager.

Can from local offie. Golden beer with creamy head that is quite lively on opening can. Aroma of sweet corn and a little malt. Taste is the same. Very poor indeed. Well it’s over with now at least.

Clear and trabsparant with visible carbonation. Thin head that stays. Smell is a bit dusk. Taste is good as I would expect from a pilsener, somewhat strong for an English beer. One problem is the watery after-taste.
