The head looks like someone’s put shaving foam on top of it, smooth and creamy lager with little flavour

The texture and mouthfeel sell this beer. It could be described as the gateway to ale/bitter or mild. Similar to Carling in the light malty , grainy taste but has a more drinkable persona. I don’t like the generic lagers in the UK and when I’m back I avoid them. But Premier is different in that it’s smooth like an ale. I like a few of these when I’m watching the football. It does beg the question though. If you are moving in the direction of flat lagers then why not just make the leap to Boddingtons?
