"The great balance of taste and refreshment". Britain’s best selling beer since 1971.
<a href=http://www.carling.com>Website

The "Black Label" has been dropped from the name in the UK. The brand, originally Canadian, was launched multinationally in the 1960s and since then ownership fell into the hands of different breweries in different countries. The original Carling O’Keefe brewery that developed this beer was purchased by Molson in the 1980s. Coors later purchased both Molson and the UK license holders Bass. Carling Black Label is still brewed in Canada

This is another beer I used to drink when I was student. Good carbonation and quire refreshing when cold. Not quite like “beer” or “lager“ Not much character in it. Actually it somehow tasted like a tomato “Dolmio” pasta sauce.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 Can. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet grain, cereal, corn and subtle grass. Taste of grain, corn, diacetyl and subtle grass. Light bodied and fizzy carbonation. A dry, grassy, slightly vegetable finish. A below average lager, best drank from the can.

Lager pâle quelconque sans intérêt, désaltère mais reste peu agréable en bouche. Bue ci et là en bouteille ou à la pression.

Golden color with an ok white head. Grainy and malty aroma. Medium (light) body with a soft to average carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Grainy and malty flavor. Nothing to recommend.

On tap pretty much anywhere in England -- This is British BMC basically. Nothing really special or to note about it.

Bottle. Aroma sweetish, diacetyl and cooked corn. Clear colour golden. Sugary candyish taste with more of all that is in aroma. Seriously flawed beer that at least somehow remains a bit drinkable.

Bottle. Golden color with medium white head. Ugly aroma of old malt, corn, diacetyl. Sweet malty taste with corn, cooked vegetable. Bad.
