Had this out of a multipack can and it just wasn’t good at all. It gave it an aluminium taste, its watery and has a very bland taste not much too it really! It pours yellow with a massive foamy head. It didn’t go down to well for me I just didn’t enjoy it at all.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
pale yellow colour, huge white head; aroma of some grass, cardboard and maybe some maltyness; horrible taste (some grassy hops, maltyness, cardboard and sourish notes...it’s a disaster!)

Subjected to a night of bad beer in the Redcar comedy club, I eventually turned to Carling. My expectations were very low, and it was actually a little better than I was expecting. Sure it’s a pretty bad lager, but it’s not the worst of the big brands.

I always think people are a little hard on carling. Sure it's everywhere and it's pretty cheap, but it's refreshing solid and we've seen some good times together. It's not a great beer but I'd choose it over fosters any day .

Well, I ran out of beer and one of my friends gave me this. Straw coloured with a thin white head, no lacing. Aroma of malt and cereal, dusty. Taste is very metallic, slight malt and hops, very watery. It’s so metallic, really bad.

Drunk direct from bottle@Arthur Wait Stand, Selhurst Park, London - couldnt see the colour but on other unfortunate experiences from glass always looked pale yellow in colour. Aroma and taste is not allot. Passable grassy, lots of corn, cardboard, high carbonation, extremely watery. Please never again.

Can poured into pint glass. Gold, tiny white head. Smells bland, sweet. Tastes awful, hardly like beer at all. Unpleasant metallic body. Leaves a film on the teeth. Icky.
