"The great balance of taste and refreshment". Britain’s best selling beer since 1971.
<a href=http://www.carling.com>Website

The "Black Label" has been dropped from the name in the UK. The brand, originally Canadian, was launched multinationally in the 1960s and since then ownership fell into the hands of different breweries in different countries. The original Carling O’Keefe brewery that developed this beer was purchased by Molson in the 1980s. Coors later purchased both Molson and the UK license holders Bass. Carling Black Label is still brewed in Canada

Clear pale golden, medium white frothy head, vanishes rather quick, some lacing; grain, grass, paper, herbs, citrus; lightly sweet, slightly bitter; light bodied, watery texture, fizzy carbonation; crisp mild bittersweet finish with hint of acidity. Rather bland beer.

Pale yellow with seemingly decent ready head. Cabbage nose and mega carb throughout the palate. FIZZY and biting and burpy. Thankfully leaves no residual aftertaste. Truly hideous.

Argonian (248) - Athens, GREECE - NOV 17, 2013
Can. Pours a clear golden body, with an average white head that diminishes fairly slowly. Some malty and skunky aroma, along with a fairly watery, herbal, grassy taste. Nice carbo level, watery, but also smooth mouthfeel, thin to medium body. An average lager alright, but better than others.

Bottled, 0.50l. Clear golden color with large frothy white head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, lemony, dusty, papery and mild skunky. Taste starts with light sweet malt, followed by grainy and grassy sourness, while finished moderate bitter. Light body, dry and thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Plain and boring...

Grottig!
