Pours a clear, bright golden color. Smells of tropical and ripe, dark fruits. Not much else. Malty and fruity with a surprising hoppy finish. Crisp carbonation with a little tartness. Light to medium body. Interesting beer. I’ve never had anything quite like it. Must try this one again soon.

A Kristalweizen from Ireland? Who would have thought that this would work? It is not 100% comparable to the German originals, but unlike many a Weizen experiment from abroad this really has it’s own style flavour and drinkability. Well done.

Abbastanza anonima in verità.

Nice color. Very light citrus aroma. I don’t know if it’s just my bad luck are the batch gone wrong but the only taste I can sense is butter, pure butter. Undrinkable. Don’t remember the last time I poured a beer down the drain. Totally upset by this one.

Pours almost completely clear golden color topped with a relatively small white head. Very mild aroma, some fruity notes, some wheaty notes. Later on some caramel notes. Taste is sweet and fruity at first, some wheat and caramel notes. Very moderate bitterness in the finish. Nice.

Bue en bouteille de 50cl. Couleur blonde, mousse blanche légère. Peu de nez, aqueuse au palais, très peu houblonnée, malts présents. Mal équilibrée. Amertume finale peu agréable.

Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Callans Dundalk, 25/12/14. Clear golden with an off white covering that quickly collapses. Nose is pretty thin, grain, light citrus, straw. Taste comprises light caramel, wheat, grain, citric rind, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Inoffensive but ultimately dull ... yawn!
