COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright and sparkling Curim Gold celtic wheat beer is brewed using a blend of pale malt torrefied wheat and caramalt. It is lightly hopped using Challenger, Mount Hood and Cascade varieties resulting in a refreshing light fruity beer with hints of peach, banana and plum.

Wasn’t great by a long way - it looked all right to start with, but I thought the taste was particularly bitter for a wheat beer.

Sweet malty aroma, nothing wheaty at all. Flavor is quite nice. Smooth and malty, just a little spicy. Not very bitter.

Tastes not a lot of wheat beers, but who cares when it still tastes like a well hopped lager with a hint of ale character. Surprisingly good!

A very refreshing Irish wheat beer, with a golden appearance and subtle hints of fruit. Nice head retention and definitely a beer that’s easy to drink.

500 ml bottle at Porterhouse in Dublin. Pours a clear gold color with a small off white head. Aroma is a nice full wheat and spicys. Taste is a super spiced wheat with fruit and malt coming through. Mellow palate. A nice wheat in an Irish Ale sort of way.

Its carbonation is so high that the beer just came out as soon as I started to open the bottle. But that’s almost the only thing high on this beer, the rest is average. I was expecting more...

Light milky brown-gold colour with very low head and medium body. The taste is really unexpected strange: pure melted butter, raw dough for sponge cakes and mild bananas. Not my idea for a perfect ale.

A - Poured into a Weizen glass. Golden bronze in color. Thick 2 finger head. S - Lots of wheat with some sour banana coming through. Apple cider, and some bubblegum yeast. Big flavors in the nose department. T - Sweet strange yeast, apple cider, sour wheat, peach tea, butterscotch, buttery towards the end. M - Thin, flat, low carbonation, watered down. This is different. I loved the smell of this beer. I also loved the flavors, but something left me wanting more after every drink, like something was missing. It was creamy but very thin, if that makes any sense. Almost like drinking juice. It’s worth trying if you come across it. Serving type: bottle 07-10-2010

Clear gold, not much head action. Muted fruit hop aroma. Flavour is pale lager-esque, not much wheat in there, notes of banana. Low carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Nothing amazing, but pleasant enough.

Pours dark, amber-gold with a short, lacy, just-off-white head. Grain malt aroma, slightly fruited. Taste is a very pleasant malt, buttery-smooth. Very lightly wheated, but a nice, understated fruit/hop mix. Simple. Crisp....great tasting.
