COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

500ml bottle. Dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Typical stout appearance - pours jet black with a mid-sized brown/yellow head. Roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of hoppy bitterness. Dry texture and a nicely balanced finish. Enjoyable.

Aroma: nice and pleasant aromas of coffee, Espresso, milked coffee, chocolate. Appearance: dark amber-deep brown color, thick super creamy tan head made of small bubbles. The beer is very dark but it seems totally clear. Average persistence. Not much lacing. Taste: very pleasant flavors of roasted malts, coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, lactose. Acidic notes from the roasted malts. Light-to-medium sweetness, medium-to-high bitterness, no sourness. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, slightly above average carbonation, long dry bitter finish of roasted malts and coffee. Overall: good flavors and aromas of espresso coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts. An acidic touch from roasted malts. Long bitter finish of coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts.

On-tap in Copenhagen. Overall, a very good Irish stout and a nice change of pace for what used to be dominated by a single brewery. Highly recommend.

Schwarzes bier, schaum ok recht wenig Geruch leicht rauchig, Geschmack malzig rauchig Kaffee und dunkler karamell, schon herb im Abgang aber zwischen durch wirkt es immer etwas wässrig

Very dark brown and clear, big brown head, decent lacing. Nose of chocolate, coffee and cream, toffee, milk. Nice balance between sweetness and roasty bitterness/sourness. Medium body, medium carbonation Anciely balanced and very drinkable stout, but nothing spectacular.

Czarne, nieprzejrzyste, piękna, drobna piana i wzrocowy laising. W aromacie wyraźna kawa zbożowa. W smaku bardzo gładkie, niska goryczka, wytrawne.

500ml bottle, served in snifter glass. Poured black with three finger mocha tan head. Aromas of vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate, nuts. Taste: continuation of the aroma with hazelnuts, caramel, lots of vanilla, licorice, dark chocolate, roasted espresso beans. Pretty sweet for a dry stout. Light to medium body with a roasted espresso bittersweet finish. Very good!

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Aroma is roasted malts with vanilla and hint of dark fruit. Appearance is very dark mahogany--almost opaque black--with two finger-width light brown head with fair foamy lacing. Taste is sweet and bitter roasted malt, bordering on ash. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture, average-to-lively carbonation with bitter, roasted, dry finish. Overall, good but a bit more interesting aroma than taste, which is a little on the ashy side.
