This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

50cl bottle at SüdØst, Oslo. Pours close to black with a beige head. Mild roasty aroma with dark fruits, chocolate and coffee. Moderate sweet with fairly mild, but pleasant roasty flavours and a dry and lightly bitter finish. Fairly tasty stout.

Nice tasty stout for the dark tides.
Black color with a fine tan head. Coffee and roasted aroma with an ok intensity. Medium body and an average to soft carbonation. Coffee, roasted and mild chocolate flavor.

Stout nera e "classica", non eccessivamente asciutta con sentori di malto tostato e caffè discretamente bilanciati. Un po’ deboluccia ma non spiacevole.

Say what you will about popular Irish brews, but one thing never fails to impress me. How is it they can cram so much flavor and even a fair amount of complexity into beers with such a low ABV? Like a lot of the major Irish Stouts, O’Hara’s pours black with a lovely tan head. Aroma has some soy sauce and smoke along with the usual appearances from cocoa and coffee. Flavor reveals some of that smoke, along with bold, rich coffee flavors and subtle chocolate. I’ve been on the lookout for this one, but it still surpassed my expectations. Thanks again, Ireland.

Zuhause, kurze Review: Recht vollmundig für dien niedern Alkoholgehalt. Sehr sprudelnd und erfrischend.

Bottle from Beer52. Pours very deep brown colour with every so slight burgundy glow. Velvety beige head which falls away quite quickly. Aroma is gentle - coffee, toast and brandy. Taste is satisfyingly rich with roasted coffee beans. Overall, a very well composed stout that leaves a lingering smokiness.

Kolor hebanowy, piana gęsta, szybko opadająca, niezbyt chętnie oblepiająca szkło. W zapachu kawa i murowana piwnica. W smaku intensywna palona kawa, w tle bardzo gorzka czekolada i kawowa kwaśność, goryczka krótka, palona. Niezłe, ale pozbawione głębi. Po ogrzaniu pojawiła się też nieprzyjemna masłowatość. Nasycenie dość wysokie.
