This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Copenhagen 14/4 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Some celtic engravings and a declaration that this is an award winning beer (very reassuring). Pours opaque reddish dark brown with light beige head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. Aroma of dark roasted malts and bitter coffee. A little sweet caramel as well. Rather strong carbonation for a stout and watery palate. Taste is more light and watery than expected. Nice coffee bitterness and a little sweetness. But a bit diluted. A very light stout where you get a little disappointed when you get to actually taste it.

This is a nice stout which gives you a bit more complex a flavour than your typical Guinness but also its not quite as full bodied if that makes sense. There's a nice crisp maltiness to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good looking stout with a simple straight forward chocolate and roasted grains aroma with some lactic undertones. Nothing deep or intensive tho. Taste is less interesting. A bit over carbonated. I must admit I drink it too cold and at a bad moment, a moment for an Imperial Stout. Maybe would enjoy it more in a pub during a more warm weather.

Lots & lots said on this one already. I don’t have much to say that people haven’t already said.

Dry as advertised! Lovely dark pour w/ a thin tan head & excellent lacing. Aroma has a light coffee roast. The taste carries solid flavor for a 4% beer. It is dark & roasty up front & then finishes quite bitter. Solid beer!

Nitro pour. Black with a cascading mocha head. Aroma big on bitter roast. Taste follows, like a very roast forward Guinness.

Stout très noire. Belle mousse. Mais vraiment très sèche. Astringente. Cela gâche une bière déjà assez moyenne.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2016 From XXXII. In Teku glass. Watching True Detective 2x06. A roasty profile similar to that of a Guinness but much more pleasant, less agressive. Or maybe Im getting used, but I even enjoyed it

My bottle label was colored green...everything else matches up though. Purchased to tip for St. Paddy’s but doing so a day late...wish I had gotten a six instead of a single...excellent stout, I will drink it again!
