COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Bottle @ home .

Tap at Urge. Rating #851. Decent enough, nothing to really make it standout. (2639)

Tasted in November 2011. Aroma: Quite deceiving. With great difficulty I was able to dig a bit of smoke malt. Appearance: Black, with nice beige head, thick and creamy, lasting average. Taste: Attack is roasted malt with ash notes. Mouth feel is soft and we can find notes of molasses and caramel. Smoke bitterness as finish. A good stout, correct, generally soft, without great pretension but doing the job. A stronger ABV would have flavors stick out more.

Cask at Franciscan Well Easter Festival. Pours a clear dark brown with a cream head. Nuts and milk choc on the nose. Med sweetness, light bitterness. Sweet palate with a smooth creamy body. A good tasty stout but nothing especially interesting or exciting about it.

330ml bottle. Some lack of body and some weird sweet flavours in this , otherwise, correct stout. Nothing remarkable.

Bottle. Pours a near black color with a smallish light brown head. Nose is very dry with a lot of roasting elements in there. Nose is definitely quite bitter and with a very dry and cool espresso finish. Interesting...

Such an Irish beauty, smooth all the way, and dry, without ever being nasty. Very opaque black, with a respectable creamy-head, I get aromas of dark chocolates, grapes and a whiff chinese gooseberries, perhaps also known as kiwifruits. Perfect flavour of roasted malts - in my staggered opinion, this has never been as pure and perfect. A touch of chocolate and a touch of basement fruits, but this dryness from the roast and that "sweet" bitterness is just so enticing. I love the way the flavours unfold in the mouth. Silky and velvety, but not much of a full body, the palate is just perfect for the flavours of this "delicate stout".

Pours a black colour with a 2 inch white heaf. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavour is a smooth mixture of chocolate, spruce and some hints of dark fruits. Soft palate and low biterness in the end. Overall, I think this is a fairly good stout, enjoyed it.
