This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

A dry roast hop flavoured stout that is light enough in texture and alcohol. Some coffee in the mouth and both sweetness and bitterness in the finish. Very nice

Here’s a tasty stout. Bottle from the SAQ in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC. Poured a thick black, with a robust 2cm heat that lasted almost all the way to the bottom. Chocolate and coffee aromas, nice & roasty. Thick and creamy on the palate, with a mildly bitter finish that leaves the mouth asking for more. Very enjoyable.

Handpump at Tree Folk’s pub in Rome-Italy. Pours black color, tick brownish ivory head. Nose: grounded coffee beans, cappuccino, grounded barley (orzo). Mouth: soft carbonation with a medium frizzy end, fresh and clean, decently rich with a coffee character but also rough in a good way. Clean and hoppy finish almost hidden. A nice dry stout.
