This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Can't compare it to a nice Irish Stout. I would say is below average than Guiness! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Norseman Temple Bar, Dublin. It pours a brown color with ruby edges and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa powder, light earthy in the finish. Taste is quite dry, lightly roasty, with notes of biscuit, grains, cocoa, earth. Finishes quite dry and a tad roasty bitter. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Overall, ok stout

Served in a pint right out of the fridge: Pours an opaque black robe showing a timid maple hue. Seems pretty dense at first glance and you get 2-3 fingers of roughly structured hazel head. Retention is pretty good as you spot huge chuncks of foam here and there. This brew offers a nose dominated by malted barley giving strong notes of instant coffee and dark chocolate. Alcohol does also pack quite a olfactory punch for such a low ABV stout. On the tongue, the brew is as any regular stout offering an attack of roasted barley and hops with a liquorish feel. In this case, the dark chocolate slightly overpowers the instant coffee elements. Having a good density, the stout finishes nice and slow with a dark coffee beans bitterness. Overall this is quite a nice stout with good density and feel. You get what you expect with more flavour and balance than a typical stout. Cheers!

Bottle 330ml. Almost opaque black with big brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, some ash, faint herbs notes. Flavor of roasted malt, light sweetness of milk chocolate, coffee, faint buttery notes, hints of herbs, dry bitter finish with light sourness. Light carbonation, medium-bodied.

Dark brown head, 50cl bottle. Pleasant smell of roasted malts, coffee, caramel, staying true to that in the first taste. Sensing hops too, but not over the board - just like it should be. Creamy texture, a bit more dark chocolate in the taste. Bitterness of coffee is pushing through at the end for a satisfying finish. Excellent beer, I can’t imagine how good the draught version must be.
