3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 25, 2013 Obviously it was oíharaís IRISH stout, but ok - seems like its the same as celtic. Poured into 250ml measuring glass, feels like pint glass really..
Deep black-through-red color with huge dark rocky head.
Great aroma of roasted malts and some alcohol hints of dark rum perhaps, and from hops.. some autumn foliage fragrance.
Flavor - first of all - I dont recommend to drink it extra cold, it is all about coffee - real and harsh robusta, burnt chocolate, and, maybe something from dry sorts of soy sauce.
Pleasant creamy texture, lovely aftertaste - bitter enough for dry stout, and a bit metallic, just few seconds after sip.
Btw, iíve spontaneously discovered a very interesting food pairing thereto - that is kind of russian spicy cakes, iím afraid, there are no proper words to translate "pryanik"..

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark black. Off white head which goes away. Woody oak aroma. Toasted malts - smoky, burned toast. Surprisingly high carbonation for a stout. A bit too high for me. Dry aftertaste, no sweetness, no chocolate, very dry, very smoky. I want a cig with this. Overall Iím not sure about this, itís a little to unbalanced. Too bitter, too light, no cream or sweetness and too fizzy but overall itís tasty and enjoyable. Mixed feelings.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark almost black with a botnof a red tint with a fluffy tan head that leaves moderate lacing. Aromas of malt, espresso and a hint of chocolate. Flavors of roasted malt, espresso and a bitter hoppiness at the end that only improves the flavor. A nice mouthfeel heavy but not too thick that keeps the flavor around for a bit. Very nice, like a Guiness with more flavor.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep black body with tight creamy head on draft at the Bierhaus Cork. Toasted malt nose with taste of espresso and good bitter aftertaste. A good draft stout in the Guinness style, if Guinness did a craft beer it would taste like this.
