4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2015 Deep black Smells strongly of roasted malts. Tastes nice and malty, with a hint of lots of coffee and chocolate. Light carbonation leaves a wonderful soft malt on the tongue. Nice and light for a stout, but lots of flavour here. I could drink this all night.

It’s not easy to find stout beers in the supermarkets around where I live apart from canned Guinnes or Ceres, and beer shops are not always around the corner, so I bought this immediatly when I saw this good looking bottle, even if a bit pricey.
Well, not the best I ever had but I hope it will not disappear from the shelves.

500ml bottle shared with multiple people at Savori. Aroma: chocolate, roasted malt, coffee. App: dark brown, minimal beige head. Taste and palate: full body, creamy, smooth, really light bitter finish. Overall: good but lacking in taste but probably because it?s too cold

Nitro pour. The beer is a velvety black with a khaki head of foam. The aroma has hints at chocolate and toffee. Some mild bitterness kicks in towqrd the finish. Creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.

Deep brown to black, Two finger beige head momentally getting a thick film. Perfect lacing on glass. Nose of roasted malts & coffee, a dusty note, minimal vegetables. The flavour is not really that dry. Light malty sweetness. Coffee. Proper amount of hop bitterness. Medium body. Thin to oily. The finish is malty & hoppy at the same time. Generally a very decent brew.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, poorly retained beige head, over a clear brownish black (SRM 35) body......nose is roasted malts with coffee, lighter chocolate, herbal hops, no esters, balance to the malts......taste is dry, with heavy roasted malts, with coffee, dominant over chocolate, finishing with a moderate roasted malt, hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a relatively simple Dry Stout, with the roasted malts almost totally dominant. However, it does meet the style quite nicely, because it is an Irish Stout. BJCP 9/3/15/4/8

Draft pour at beer authority in NY. Super foamy head. Black. Super dry. Bland. Probably how it is supposed to be.
