COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Drinking this at King’s Café, Rijeka, but regularly at Sheridan’s pub in Zagreb. Black with blood red tint and a perfect creamy tan head that lasts all through the glass, leaving thick lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of chocolate, then coffee with milk in the taste. Sweet like red fruit and well balanced light roasted bitterness. Smooth and thick, but light and drinkable, with extremely full mouthwatering taste. Someone in the pub once said it’s like drinking silk panties :-) A truly wonderful stout.

Aroma: dark malts, coffee with milk. Appearance: black color, amazing thin beige head (nitrogen). Taste: low bitterness, coffee with milk, roasted malts, slightly itchy, watery but not empty. Palate: low body and low carbonation, roasted finish. Overall: Classical stout, drinkable with an interesting taste.

Bela irish Stout! Cremosa, amargor do lúpulo procunciado, malte muito torrado! Notas de café expresso preto com um toque leve de baunilha.

Bottle at home. The colour is clear deep brown to black with a big, creamy, light brown head. Well carbonated. Nice roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate and leather. The flavour is similar but light. The mouth feel is light and slick, and has a light bitterness. A nice and easy-drinking stout.

Well it is as black as can be with a little tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and leather. Tasted of bitter coffee, roasted malts, and almost a bit burnt. Had a medium body with average carbonation and a slick mouth feel. The aftertaste was of coffee bitterness and that’s really where you notice the dryness.

She’s pretty dark lads, go for ’er I say! Scent of roasty big ass malts, leather and earth. Bitter coffee and burnt toast flavour makes this really come together as a nice Dry. Finish really lives up to the moniker and it has medium carbonation.

Strolling through my local grocery store I happened upon a bottle lying in a basket surrounded by various unknown beers. As a fan of Irish stouts and being $1.00 I simply couldn’t resist. The aroma of this beer is what one would expect from a Irish stout. notes of coffee and chocolate are definitely present. This beer pours in a deep black color with about a finger of light khaki head. Lacing on the glass seemed to dissipate quickly. The taste of this beer resembles other Irish stouts like Guiness although it isn’t nearly as smooth and creamy. Coffee flavor is vague and only a light hint of chocolate is noticed. Overall this beer us "good" not great not bad. If I am able to score a few more bottles at 1.50 I will do so, I cannot imagine seeking this Irish stout out however.

Bottle @ home. Pours with a pitch black colour, medium long lasting off-white head. Aroma is medium malty with very little notes of coffee, softly hoppy. Taste is softly bitter, softly sour. Medium to heavy body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Easy to drink, good choice if you want to avoid Guinness.
