This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Very nice.. complex, balanced, mild, malty, dry, chocolatey, smooth.. really pleasant and would make it my tipple if I could get it in my local on tap.. could do with being a tiny bit sweeter, but that is a matter of personal taste

Dark brown in color with a medium tan head that holds for a few minutes. On the aroma, coffee is very predominant with a supporting background of dark bitter chocolate, a touch of caramel and bits of orange zest. I find it to be medium in body with a moderately long finish and an explosion of espresso. Very dry on the finish. It’s enjoyable enough but definitely not a standout.

Mousse beige, couleur noire mais pas opaque. Café, grains torréfiés, amertume. Agréable, change de la seule stout/guinness commerciale que l’on trouve en grande distribution

Pitch black average beige head. Roasty aroma with hints of hops. Chocolate and caramel. Oily texture. Great beer!

330ml (Chimay goblet) . Low boost stout tim ! Roasted malts , meat , burnt coffee nose . Thin khaki head that died too soon , above blackness that is blacker than your anus . .Tangy rich roast notes , coffee , dry bitterness , chewy sugary finish . Drunks pretty gud !

500ml bottle. Dark black colour with a medium sized beige head, not too long lasting but does leave a little lacing. Aroma mainly roasted coffee/chocolate malt. The taste is exactly the same. Dry bitterness, bit of a smoky aftertaste. Not as smooth as a Guinness. Not bad though.

Butelka 0,5 l. Aromat kawy, czekolady, słodu palonego. Barwa czarna. Piana beżowa, dość obfita, pęcherzyki drobne i średnie. Szybko opada do kożuszka, ładnie zdobi szkło. Smak lekko/umiarkowanie słodki i lekko gorzki, wyczuwalne nuty czekoladowe, kawy z mlekiem, jest także lekka kwaskowość na finiszu, który jest dość wytrawny.

Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2015. Smell of coffee, chocolate and a roasted aroma. Similar taste. Nice and tasty, specially considering the ABV.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. Deep tawny brown, almost black, with a loose beige head; aroma of roasted malts with a hint of chocolate; thin milky body with a sharp bitterness from the roast and the hops; then some milky coffee; before a dry finish with lingering roasted grains ans some warmth. A pleasant stout.
