This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

12oz bottle labeled Irish Stout. Aroma is roasted malt, smoke, and coffee. Large rocky tan head that mostly diminished but left fantastic lace. Dark black/red hue. Flavor is smoke, coffee, and roasted malt that ends with a dry bitterness. Palate is medium bodied and flat. A good one.

bottle - Pours near black with a one finger tan head and a decent roast aroma. The flavor is rich roast malt and coffee. The body is medium to full and finishes moderately bitter. It’s a pretty solid stout.

Near-black chestnut brown with a brown head that settles into a thick crumpet-like pad that looks like you could lie down on it. Beautiful! Light soy sauce, espresso aromas. Full bodied with earthy burnt barley, slightly woody and an ashy dry finish. Quite bitter. Fantastic!

Pours a brown black color with a tope colored head that is foamy and somewhat pocketed. Smells of roasted malt and chocolate, tastes like roasted malt and coffee. Kind of like a murphys but not as smooth as a guinness.

11.2 oz bottle. Totally black, brown head that fades quickly with good lacing, smooth and not overly sweet. No real overpowering flavors and a smoky taste, and an aroma that hit me a foot away from the glass. Mild ABV for a stout, but that just means I can enjoy more than one... :) Not bad at all.

purchased at puget sound wine cellar in port orchard, washington. bottle states an irish stout. pour is night black with a two finger foamy khaki head that stays around quite awhile, very nice lacing. smell is faint, very little cocoa and coffee, little bit of roasted nuts. taste is dark chocolate, nice dryness, some espresso, touch of roasted flavors. overall a nice stout, could be a bit stronger, but a very nice brew.

A basic dry stout. Aroma was a little weak but could pick up some coffee. Pour was nice...a dark brown/black with a nice 2 finger tan head. Taste was very toasty. Roasted malt, coffee and a nice bitter aftertaste. Heavy carbonation which is a plus for me. Nice and dry as the style indicates. Now bear with me on this...there is a wierd beef jerky taste in there that I can’t figure out. It doesn’t take away from the beer but creeps up the sinuses and was unexpected. Nice.

500ml bottle.
Pours black as an abyss with an nice and thick foamy tan head. Fades slowly and leaves a nice coat of lacing ’round the glass. Aroma hits you with banana cream pie, caramel and chocolate malts as well as some other fruity and grainy notes below. The flavour is very nice. Coffee bitterness, dark chocolate, roasted malts and some sour banana. A little bit thin for me, but otherwise good feel and balanced carbonation. Ends Bitter and dry on a sour ground coffee taste. I like it.
