COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Pours a rich black with a nice cream head. Aroma is a cross between Guinness and a fresh bag of coffee. Flavor is like a Guinness with a bit of roasted attitude. Much more malt definition than Guinness; a bit more gruff and less refined. Palate coats nicely. This is a very good Irish stout; a definite repeat.

Medium sized tan head, retention is good, lace is sticky and coating. A black brew. Nose of roasty malts and chocolate. Body is med/light. Dry malt flavors, roast, chocolatey lightly burnt malts, black patent? A touch chalky. Dry, roasty finish.

50 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Black colour with a big beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Flavour of roasteness and hints of coffee. Ends up very bitter and dry. Nice but nothing speciel.

Aroma is weak and unconvincing-roasted malt. Strange oat smell that isn’t offensive, just seems odd. Color is nice and dark with tan foamy head that leaves some nice lacing. Flavor is watery and not as robust as expected. Pretty plain... nothing really noteworthy although it has a little more sour kick than I’m accustomed to with a stout.

Dark burgundy brown body with visible carbonation and a frothy, light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, burnt figs and chestnuts, and some evident sweet caramelization. Flavor is like well-roasted dark coffee with medium acidity. Also some charry notes plus burnt fruit and squash. Fizzy, over-carbonated palate.
