Bottled at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Dark brown coloured with medium lasting beige head. Malty and light roasty in the aroma. Flavour is light roasted with some coffee notes. Is a little watery in the end, but has a slightly bitter note.

Decent for a stout, but a bit too watery and thin. Nice roasted flavor, but that's it... not thick enough to support it's weak base.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheBeerGod (4632) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2005 Pours a pitch black like Guinness. Very reminescent of Guinness except this is much more watery and a lot less flavorful. Very thin bodied and almost non existent on the palate. Has a slight cocoa or coffee taste but with little finish or aftertaste. Seems like a watered down Guinness. Average beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 proc (342) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - MAR 28, 2003
While not a flavor powerhouse, this stout is highly drinkable. Pours out to the usual darkness that is associated with this style with a generous light brown head. Nice roasted malt presence. A tad thin but evens out with a slight sweetness that mixes in with the roasted malt in the end. You could drink these all night.

This stout leans more toward the bitter side of the spectrum. Very dark. Flavors of coffee and chocolate are abundant. Very dry finish.

Completely dark-brown to black. Brown-grey head, thick, big bubbles. Nose: coffee-and-milk, chocolate, roasted malt, tobacco notes. Taste is bitter as from burnt malts. Coffee, chicory. Very chewy mouthfeel, yet refreshing. Aftertaste is malt & bitterness, like a slightly overdone bread.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 6, 2003
Midnight black with a big light brown head. Thin roasted malt aroma with English hop presence. Body is of medium viscosity but lacks any real complexity. Dry bitter finish rounds out an otherwise average stout.
