COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Very light roasted aroma with some hop (?) bitterness. Opaque black color, whipped cream brown head, relatively big bubbles. Subtle coffee and toffee notes, cane sugar sweetness, chocolate and coffee aftertaste. Light-bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Pleasant, has what the average Guinness lacks.

Bottled. A black beer with an off-white head. The aroma has roastiness, chocolate and tar. The taste also has some roastiness but the overall impression is of dryness.

Inky black with thick head. Sour nose, chocolate, woody, and old campfire on the nose. Slight prickle, somewhat sour, with tootsie roll. Dry slightly sour finish..

Dark amber, almost black, with a lasting brownish head.Aroma from cocoa and chocolate. Has a rather mild flavor, malty with some coffee and a hoppy finish. Ok, but this was more like a dark lager to me. Thin and not the best of stouts.

Very dark, reddish color with medium, tanned and tight, lacy head. Both sweet and dry, very roasted-malty, coffee aroma - very close to Guinness. Strong roasted-malty, coffee flavor with a bitter finish. Long, roasted and dry aftertaste. Medium to full-bodied, dry palate with balanced and quite smooth carbonation. A nice and full, very Guinness-like stout.

Dark brown body with a foamy tan head. Aroma is mild coffee, roasted malt and milk chocolate. Flavor is also mild and quite thin. Roasted malt with some bitter hops in the finish and also weak coffee notes. Little sourness. Nice and easy but very light and thin.

Beatiful dark brown pour. Easy light drink, bit much on water, particularly with lower alcohol. A bit of bite -molasses and hoppy. Liked: Only mildly roasty, only bit of the coffee, and hint of chocolates and nutty. Clear freshness dating.

Bottle: Poured a dark black colored beer with an average bubbly head with standard retention. Aroma is really great with a nice mix between roastiness and coffee. Taste is OK with some nice touch of roasted malts and coffee. The aftertaste is dry without too much of the watery feeling you get with Guinness. Overall, a good stout but nothing too much out of the ordinary.

Scent is strong alcohol, but it seems to work. Coffee taste dominates. A perfectly acceptable stout.
