COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 Pint, nitro @ L Mullingan Grocer. Looks fantastic, black with a creamy white head. Not much aroma through the nitro head. Burnt roast malt in the flavour. Creamy mouthfeel, flay carbonation. More roastiness in the finish. Nice, will rate again when i can find it off the nitro.Re-rated from the bottle, what a difference. Dark chocolate, liquorice notes in the aroma and flavour, thick, lush mouth feel. Nice saltiness too. Why drink any stout on nitro? Excellent.

Piana dość trwała, średnio gruboziarnista. Aromat czekoladowy, palony, dość głęboki. W smaku nieco wodniste, ale to norma w przypadku dry stoutu. Palona goryczka. Nawet kremowe w odczuciu. Klasyka gatunku.

Draft at McGillins. Clearly meant as a Guinness alternative. Silky opaque black pour. Thick nitro beige head (on a settled double pour). Lace coats above the ring. Dark roasted malts. Slightly nutty. Touch of cocoa and coffee bean. Bit of peat. Very full body. Feels both fuller and drier than the current American draft version of Guinness. Missing that milky lactic tang but has enough hop bite to add a muted spicy dry finish. Good stuff.

Irish dry stout de 4,3 % abv. Couleur noir soutenu, quasi opaque. Mousse café crème, épaisse, bien structurée. Arômes de café, moka, pointe de noisette, cappuccino. 1ère bouche soyeuse sur un très beau café. Arrière-bouche pleine, longue.
