COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Roasty aroma, bready.. not a ton going on, bit thin, terribly mild, lacks flavor.. inoffensive I suppose but does nothing to excite.

Pours gentle, with medium but not aggressive head. Smell is of roasted coffee, some sweet-sour notes. Pours dark, very nice looking beer. Taste is very gentle and subtle. Nice carbonation, chocholate-coffee aftertaste. A very nice stout!

Dark brown body with big tan head. Really nice chocolate, coffee, roasty aroma. Medium to full body. Good one, but much better on tap than from bottle.

500 ml bottle in Waterford, Ireland. Dark chocolate pour with a fizzy and lasting head. Aromas were very chocolate and some coffee. Flavor was similar with little sweetness. Pretty good stuff.

On tap. Dark brown color with lots of beige creamy head. Head is slowly rising from the bottom of the glass to the top. Weak roasted malt aroma. Taste strong bitter coffee with cream. From the bottle is very good, but on tap version is really excellent.

Nice enough stout with an espresso taste, some bitter hops and hint of chocolate. Certainly better from the tap than from the bottle.

Zapach z butelki: Karmelowo-palony. Kawowy. Piana: Obfita, brązowa, drobno- i średniopęcherzykowa. Gęsta, w czasie nalewania widoczny efekt kaskadowy, dość trwała. Kolor: Czarny z brązowymi refleksami. Zapach: Rześka paloność. Kawa zbożowa oraz espresso. Sporo karmelu lub przypieczonej mocno skórki chleba, jakby przypieczonych gofrów. W tle delikatne estry kojarzące się z czerwonymi owocami. Smak: Wytrawne, dominuje zdecydowana paloność. Tekstura: Ciało niskie, piwo smukłe. Bardzo gładkie, chociaż paloność jest niemal ostra. Nasycenie: Niskie.

Drinking this at King’s Café, Rijeka, but regularly at Sheridan’s pub in Zagreb. Black with blood red tint and a perfect creamy tan head that lasts all through the glass, leaving thick lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of chocolate, then coffee with milk in the taste. Sweet like red fruit and well balanced light roasted bitterness. Smooth and thick, but light and drinkable, with extremely full mouthwatering taste. Someone in the pub once said it’s like drinking silk panties :-) A truly wonderful stout.
