COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Roasty aroma, bready.. not a ton going on, bit thin, terribly mild, lacks flavor.. inoffensive I suppose but does nothing to excite.

33cl Bottle on Syros, as Irish Stout. Black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, nuts. Flavour is the same, nice roasty flavours, smooth and creamy, coffee bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Really nice for such a low ABV.

Aromes dolços i torrats de xocolata i café. En boca xocolatai amarg de café lligat amb el final sec. Exemple d’estil, ben estructurada.

Bottle at home - pours black with tan head - aroma of espresso - follows into the taste with roasty notes - medium mouthfeel. Good bottled stout

Black pour with a below average tan head that doesn’t really stick around for long. Leaves a nice lace. Chocolate fudge and licorice on the nose with some coffee and a light earthiness. A little light on the palate but the flavours are solid. Lots of coffee and a bit of chocolate. Pretty dry with a light bitterness in the finish.

Bottle, near black, ashy and red-fruity nose with treacle hints. Dry yet fruity, burnt caramel, hints of dark chocolate, a burnt bitterness and a long dry-bitter finish. Very impressive dry stout.

Classica stout, dai sentori tostati e di cioccolato. Si percepisce anche della frutta secca. L’amaro le fa da padrona.

(50 cl bottle from Dublin Airport shop; BBD: May 28th 2015) Pours black with plenty of creamy, tan head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is subtly toasted malt with hints of earthy hops. Oily almost creamy texture, medium body with soft carbonation and a roasted, semi-ascerbic finish. Flavour is mostly toasted malt with some ascerbic touches and a balancing bitterness. Very dry and practically no sweetness. Decent for the ABV but would have liked more taste.

Pours black with creamy head. A bit of roasted malt in the aroma. The flavour has plenty of almost burnt malts leading to a coffee-like finish.

Bu en bouteille de 50cl, couleur très noire grosse mousse blanche et petite effervescence, en bouche grosse note sur le grillée et l’amande et ensuite attaque énorme sur le café très fort assez prégnant un peu trop fort...
