COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

Zapach z butelki: Karmelowo-palony. Kawowy. Piana: Obfita, brązowa, drobno- i średniopęcherzykowa. Gęsta, w czasie nalewania widoczny efekt kaskadowy, dość trwała. Kolor: Czarny z brązowymi refleksami. Zapach: Rześka paloność. Kawa zbożowa oraz espresso. Sporo karmelu lub przypieczonej mocno skórki chleba, jakby przypieczonych gofrów. W tle delikatne estry kojarzące się z czerwonymi owocami. Smak: Wytrawne, dominuje zdecydowana paloność. Tekstura: Ciało niskie, piwo smukłe. Bardzo gładkie, chociaż paloność jest niemal ostra. Nasycenie: Niskie.

Beautiful aroma of roasted malts. Lots of chocolate and even more coffee. Some hops appearing here and there as well. Some bready aroma in the background as well. Very strong. Pours black with huge head, that lasts for a long, long while and leaves great lacing. That head is really durable. Taste is dry, yet not watery. Medium-low carbonation, medium bitterness (just enough to feel it, works great in this beer). Overall it’s a very simple, straightforward beer. Extremely drinkable, session. Love that touch of coffee in there as well.

Dark brown pour with a tan/light mocha head which unfortunately dissipates quickly. Pleasant nose of bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and vanilla. Slight bitterness balanced with coffee, malts and toasted vanilla. Light bodied and robust.

My bottle label was colored green...everything else matches up though. Purchased to tip for St. Paddy’s but doing so a day late...wish I had gotten a six instead of a single...excellent stout, I will drink it again!

I just found this on tap locally, and being a sucker for new brands, I gave it a shot. I found this to be a very enjoyable stout! It has a strong roast bite on the front end with a slighty carmel sweet finish. Didn’t get the bitter aftertaste I find with most brands, which makes it one of the only stouts my wife will actually drink with me. I’ll add it to the shopping list!

Bottle from Slob Thanks!

Pours a rich black with a nice cream head. Aroma is a cross between Guinness and a fresh bag of coffee. Flavor is like a Guinness with a bit of roasted attitude. Much more malt definition than Guinness; a bit more gruff and less refined. Palate coats nicely. This is a very good Irish stout; a definite repeat.

Totally opaque black. Earthy thick scent with lots of malt. Less spice then expected. Very pleasnat taste, lots of malts a bit herby and a bit flowery. Chives, caramel and dates. Sweeter aftertaste at first then a lingering almost curry like finish in the back of the throat. On of the best stouts I have had in a long time (could also be because it’s the first since I stopped smoking :) )

Such an Irish beauty, smooth all the way, and dry, without ever being nasty. Very opaque black, with a respectable creamy-head, I get aromas of dark chocolates, grapes and a whiff chinese gooseberries, perhaps also known as kiwifruits. Perfect flavour of roasted malts - in my staggered opinion, this has never been as pure and perfect. A touch of chocolate and a touch of basement fruits, but this dryness from the roast and that "sweet" bitterness is just so enticing. I love the way the flavours unfold in the mouth. Silky and velvety, but not much of a full body, the palate is just perfect for the flavours of this "delicate stout".
