COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This stout has a robust flavour with a ful bodied and smooth mouth feel. The roast flavours lead to a dry espresso like finish. A generous addition of fuggles hops lead to a tart bitterness which mingles with the roast espresso flavours on the tongue.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2004 For my money, good full body, but the chocolatey flavour could be more assertive.

This beer is similar to Guinness, but the taste is much sharper. Overall not bad, but I prefer Guinness.

Bottle. A bitter roast burnt bite hits right away followed by a strong aftertaste typical of most stouts. Overall, I was unimpressed with this beer. A little too spritzy and more roast bite than I would like.

Dark with a creamy head. No real aroma, sort of a watery malt. Some roasted flavors. A fairly average stout.

An ok beer, nice roasted taste with vitually no cofee flavor, finishes very dry.

Decent for a stout, but a bit too watery and thin. Nice roasted flavor, but that's it... not thick enough to support it's weak base.

Bottled at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Dark brown, beige head. Starts off rather powerful, but the aftertaste is weak.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2003 Black in color with a light brown frothy head. Aroma is malt with coffee and chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, bitter. Seemed a little off. I did like the bite it had though.

An average example of the dry style. Carries a subtle roasted overtone on the palate as it is consumed. Not as outstanding as it's acclaim on the six-pack carrier describes.
