COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg & bottled, special
A full-bodied, full-on Double IPA combining caramel and malt flavours with a well-balanced and substantial bitterness, which is topped off by a tantalising hop aroma with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Light carbonation allows the full flavour of this beer to shine through.

Jun ’14. A 0.5 l bottle @Magic beer room, Zagreb. It poured clear dark golden body with medium sized head. Aroma was fine, grapefruit and other citrus notes came from both hops and its malt. Bitter flavor, but not too much, showing more orange sweetness and caramel than hops. Simple and one-dimensional. Medium bodied with bittersweet finish perfectly matching the flavor. Alcohol was hidden really nicely. Unfortunately, worse than most of the home brews just tasted that afternoon, however, simple as it was, it was rather drinkable ale and admittedly I might had too big expectations.

Malziger Geruch, süß, Honig, Zitrusklänge. Antrünkchen süß, Zitrus. Mitte honigartig, malzig, ölig. Klingt aus mit Zitrusnoten, malzig, süßlich-bitter, schokoladig. Sehr gut.

Very nice, amber color with significant lacing. Smooth, medium bitter mouthfeel with lot of body. Aroma is full of caramel and grapefruits, very malty but without any defects. No bitter aftertaste, very drinkable and light in double IPA style. Dense and sweet but gentle and not too heavy. Very good beer.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is medium to srong bitter with a big smooth nettle resin hop pale and along bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

500ml bottle. Clear light copper colour with an off-white head. Fruity, hoppy and caramel aroma. Soft to average carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with some dry finish. Overall, a nice brew but with some sweet too much.

Amber coloured with nice head and great lacing. Aroma is not strong enough for this kind of beer, pine, grapefruit, caramel... Taste is quite boozy, alkohol should be more hidden. Not a very balanced beer, but still not a bad beer.

Bottle at Mum and Dads, from Tesco Dundalk, 30/08/14. Clear golden amber with a well appointed light beige covering that dissipates then retains. Nose is caramel malt, citric sherbets, bitter orange, touch of grapefruit, woody notes. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter orange, light grapefruit notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Drinkable, but as the APA I had from this brewer, rather pedestrian and ’entry level’ for style.

Bottled in Sheridan’s Pub, Zagreb, Croatia. Almost clear golden with white creamy firm head. Tropical fruit salad aroma, hints of mango and banana, sweet with a slight alcohol kick that lasts in your mouth. Full body, medium carbonation. It is extremely easily drinkable despite the high alcohol content. Great beer.
