COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
keg & bottled, special
A full-bodied, full-on Double IPA combining caramel and malt flavours with a well-balanced and substantial bitterness, which is topped off by a tantalising hop aroma with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Light carbonation allows the full flavour of this beer to shine through.

Endlich mal etwas anderes vom O´Hara mit einer durchaus annehmbaren Trinkbarkeit und gewissen fruchtigen Aromen neben der hopfigen Front. Süffig, mild, Bitterkeit ok. Durchaus zu empfehlen.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a light hazy deep golden-amber colour with a steady head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of hops, herbs and citrus fruits. Taste of hops, light barley, peaches, grapefruit, zest, pine, herbs and flowers. Easy drinkable. Good one, enjoyed it.

500ml, 7.5%. Amber ale with no head. Medium carbonation. Flavour is both sweet and hoppy in the mouth but the bitterness in the aftertaste is limited. Balanced and flavoursome. Strong beer with a kick. Lovely.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a firm medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly buttery cara-malty aroma with traces of cooked vegetables/onions, accompanied by mildly fruity hops, including notes of grapefruit and tangerines. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm, if not a bit tame carbonation. Malt-accented, mildly caramelly and sugary taste with notes of fruit cake; slightly sticky, sweet malty finish with fruity accents and a restrained level of bitterness. Stylewise not overly convincing. 11.XII.14

0.5l bottle. Amber color with white head. Aroma is pine, citrus and caramel. It doesn’t have strong hoppy aroma as IPA should have, but it is quite pleasant the way it is. Taste is medium bitter with caramel notes. Medium body and average carbonation. Overall it average IPA, but good beer in general.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a frothy white head. Initially nice fruity aroma, some sweet tropical fruits, followed by caramel and some of that unpleasant soy sauce smell. taste starts sweet, caramel-like with decent bitterness. A bit too sweet nad malty, not the best effort.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear deep amber color with medium creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, mild citrus and tropical fruits. Taste starts rich and smooth malty with sweet caramel, following is tropical fruity and resinous with well hidden alcohol and heavy bitter finish. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Positive Irish surprise...

This has got to be one of the most godawfuking beers I’ve ever tasted. Truly revolting. Back off, don’t try it. At €2.50 a bottle in Tesco you’re being robbed.

Pours nice with minimum head. Smell is not strong, quite ale-ish. Also the taste. Still good to drink though.

Bottle. Dark golden, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel with light tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness, some grapefruit hoppyness, faint alcohol. Too much caramel for me - not overly too sweet though. Body is bit thin - could use more bitterness to balance caramel sweetness.
