A full-bodied, full-on Double IPA combining caramel and malt flavours with a well-balanced and substantial bitterness, which is topped off by a tantalising hop aroma with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Light carbonation allows the full flavour of this beer to shine through.

Flat white head. Hoppy aroma, resiny, piny kind of hops. Kick of caramel at the begining, some unriped green fruity notes. Little bit unballanced and heavy IIPA.

Deep golden towards amber appearance with medium head. Caramel and citrus aroma, sweet and bitter at the same time with some sourness. Taste feels odd at first but develops into rounded and balanced beer. Decent Double IPA.

Bottle. Aroma strong hoppy, resiny, citrusy. Clear golden to amber colour. Stable head. Taste is initially very sweet, caramel, fruity, berries. Slowly changes into strong hoppy bitterness, incorporating resiny and citrusy flavours. Obviously high in alcohol. Sipper by all means. Very good.

Poured from bottle. Clear golden color with big white head. Aroma of prunes, apricot. Full body, moderate carbonation, oily texture. Warming alcohol. Sweet start followed by piney bitterness which lingers in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Color ambrato chiaro, ottima schiuma. Profumo dolce, caramellato, non evidente il luppolo. Molto intensa al palato, il dolce del malto predomina e parmane per lungo tempo. L’amaro appare solo alla deglutizione

Flight done at Brewers Corner in Kilkenny. Samples healthy portion, 8 oz. Tasty notes as follows: Irish Stout: coffee, dry, tasty Irish Pale Ale: good pun on name, good flavor, nice hop balance Irish Red: strong alcohol flavor, finish is taste of pool water, hard to finish, biased against style in general, had in nitro as well which was more enjoyable Helles Lager: crisp, mild hop finish Natural Blonde: drinkable, koslh-esque? Leann Follain: Barrel aged flavor, enjoyable like most irish dry stouts Double IPA: Boozy, strong hop flavor, not up there with the good ones Widow Retro Pale Ale: conservative, middle of the road, not offensive but not great Amber Adventure: tastes similar to pale ale, hops present and noticeable, bitter, caramel malt Winter Star: spicy, winer holiday flavor
