Exactly how a pale ale should taste like. Very, very hoppy due to dry hopping. Floral and zesty. Poors a beautiful golden colour, a steady foamy head and has a hay yeasty aroma. Strong flavours of bread, grass, citrus and an aftertaste that his zesty and fresh. Leaves a nice and hoppy aftertaste in the mouth that is very powerful and flowery. My favourite O’Hara’s beer.

Bottles from Wegman’s Collegeville and Capone’s. Pours clear gold with huge white frothy head. Nose is pale malt, noble hops, black pepper. Tastes hoppy, pale malty, with notes of pineapple, tangerine, and some off metallic notes in the finish. OK, but not a repeater for the Good Doctor.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Mild amber in color with a good head of foam. This was a nice English style IPA with plenty of noble hop aroma. There was a small amount of citrus in the nose and taste. Well balanced and tasty. Good finish as well. Pleased with this. Note: the tap in Dublin was a better version than the bottled.

Aroma is light tropical fruit, citrus zest and malts. The flavor is tropical fruit, light grapefruit, a pulpy texture, malts and a tangy/bitter finish.

500 ml fra Vinmonopolet. Gullgylden farve med hvitt lett skum. Fremtredende aroma av grapefrukt og blodappelsin, frisk og tropisk. Bitter i munnen med god kullsyre og sitrusfriskhet i avslutningen. (Munkegata, 14.04.13)

Pours copper color with a medium head. Aroma of hops, fruits, caramel malts and grass. Flavor is the same with some goose berries and nuts.

On tap at the Bocktown Monace. Nice place. Today the over 40 girl at the bar was pretty freindly but becareful, she has a short fuse. Hazy light brown, really light brown, almost like a darker hefe. Summy head. Very mild fruity aroma, pleasant on the olfactory. A little stronger than anticipated. Overall, not over the top. Some co2 but barely detectable. Has that old country flat ale feel about it. Some mild medicine in there on the finish. Not impressed.

Slightly cloudy with a lingering smooth head. Fruity flavor with light hopiness and medium body

500 ml bottle in Swords, Ireland.. Pours a coppery gold color with a very small white head. Sweet fruity grapefruit aroma. Powerful flowers, bitter and sweet taste. Plasant. Palate ends bitter and strong. Too hoppy for my taste but well done.
