Keg& bottles, regular.Dry hopped for extra aroma, this pale ale has a light malt base with just the right mouthfeel to allow the hop character to predominate. Grapefruit like bitterness is full and lasting and is balanced by a zesty citrus burst of aroma from two late additions of cascade hops.

50 cl bottle @ O’Hara’s Freehouse. Rated on 06.05.2011
Aroma is fresh with hops, grass and citrus notes. Flavour has hay, some citrus and hints of grass. Nice and dry, although I like my APAs more hoppy.

Keg pint. Pours light amber with small white head- medium to low level of carbonation. Aroma of pine and slight citrus - mediocre. Taste of bitter citrus, slight floral and reasonable malt backbone - not going crazy for it to be honest. Lingering pleasant bitterness in aftertaste. A decent safe option for hopheads in ireland if nothing else is available on draught. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled 500ml. -from Kuća Piva, Zagreb. Finally after I don’t know how much time (probably 10 or more months) I’ll rate this beer. Dark orange coloured, medium to big sized off-white head, aromatic hoppy nose with hint of caramel. Moderate malty, pleasant aromatic hoppy and very fruity with mild notes of caramel. Dry hoppy finish. Very nice beer.

Bottle at BA SKövde. Golden beer with a big white head. Hoppy grassy metallic aroma. Grassy hoppy flavor with metallic notes. Rather onedimensional and boring.

Medium offwhite head. Coppery body with strong carbonation. Fruity floral strawy aroma with dusty grassy resiny notes. Not as fresh as it could be. Dry fruity resiny taste with wooden strawy metallic notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, dusty mouthfeel. Dry resiny orangey aftertaste with strawy malty dusty notes. Slightly salty, too. Not bad, but a bit harsh, and not as fresh as it ought to be. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

This is a nice development on the Irish beer scene; a good solid medium strength ale on bottle. Moderately hoppy, clean and very drinkable. A sort of go-to beer.

Fairly clear light orange with a small foamy head. Grape fruit, caramel and some grass in the aroma. The flavour is bigger, fruity and earthy, with grapefruit and some restrained caramel. Moderately long finish. Light palate.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Ashbourne, Co Meath. Poured a slightly hazy orange colour with a mid sized white head. Aroma and flavour had some notes of citrus and grassy hop. Pretty lively carbonation. Dry bitter finish. Straightforward, but perfectly drinkable and a decent take on the style. Ireland could do with more decent beer and this is a step in the right direction.
