COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg& bottles, regular.Dry hopped for extra aroma, this pale ale has a light malt base with just the right mouthfeel to allow the hop character to predominate. Grapefruit like bitterness is full and lasting and is balanced by a zesty citrus burst of aroma from two late additions of cascade hops.

Medium offwhite head. Coppery body with strong carbonation. Fruity floral strawy aroma with dusty grassy resiny notes. Not as fresh as it could be. Dry fruity resiny taste with wooden strawy metallic notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, dusty mouthfeel. Dry resiny orangey aftertaste with strawy malty dusty notes. Slightly salty, too. Not bad, but a bit harsh, and not as fresh as it ought to be. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

This is a nice development on the Irish beer scene; a good solid medium strength ale on bottle. Moderately hoppy, clean and very drinkable. A sort of go-to beer.

Fairly clear light orange with a small foamy head. Grape fruit, caramel and some grass in the aroma. The flavour is bigger, fruity and earthy, with grapefruit and some restrained caramel. Moderately long finish. Light palate.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Ashbourne, Co Meath. Poured a slightly hazy orange colour with a mid sized white head. Aroma and flavour had some notes of citrus and grassy hop. Pretty lively carbonation. Dry bitter finish. Straightforward, but perfectly drinkable and a decent take on the style. Ireland could do with more decent beer and this is a step in the right direction.

A hoppy ale, both in aroma and taste, but some fruity sweetness to balance it out. (Bottle)

0.5L bottle from bestillingsutvalget, Vinmonopolet. Tall, shiny blond head. Slightly hazed, pale honey-golden body. Pleasant hop aroma; Flowers, grass faint spice and herbs. Taste is more than medium sweet, bordering on harsh. Light malty, some biscuit tones. Distinct, almost astringent bittereness. Lightly spiced, earthy and fruity hop flavor. Sharpish mouthfeel. Medium full. Bitter-sweet ending. Not very American-styled, yet a decent pale ale.

Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Sugary malt aroma with notes of vomit. Fresh flavour of mild floral hops and malt. One dimensional. Easy and thinnish.

24/06 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It pourd golden to amber body with medium sized head. Nice rounded aroma, orange and biscuit, pretty much like jaffa cakes. Weaker flavor, some herbal and orange hops, cruder grainy malt besides biscuit as well. Still, it gave longer malty finish, dominated by its biscuity part. this brew was also quite fine for my taste, though grainy notes are cons for sure.
