COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg& bottles, regular.Dry hopped for extra aroma, this pale ale has a light malt base with just the right mouthfeel to allow the hop character to predominate. Grapefruit like bitterness is full and lasting and is balanced by a zesty citrus burst of aroma from two late additions of cascade hops.

The official Odense sunny Thursday evening in June monster tasting event. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty and fruity aroma with a touch of yeasty phenols. Sweetish fruity flavour with a mild hoppy finish

0,5 flaske fra Polet. Lite humlearoma, lite munnfylde og utydelig humleprofil til å være en tørrhumlet I(rish)PA. Noe metallisk ettersmak. Ikke min smak hva angår ipa.

On Draught,
Pours a golden color with a small wispy head that disappears.

The aroma has some minerally character, a good bit of grassy hops, and a sort of buttery thing I’m having a hard time ignoring.

The flavor is nicer than the aroma; the hops are still grassy in a pleasant way and compliment a fair presence of herbal hops nicely. The beer has mild fruity characteristics and some mineral earthiness as well.

February 15, 2011. Shared by garthicus with blankboy and me. 500ml bottle. Dry-hopped. Hazy orange with a smallish creamy/fizzy diminishing head. Aroma of apple, pear, floral bitterness, sweet, but reasonably balanced (can’t quite go 7); slightly biscuity. Taste is surprisingly bitter, floral (marigold), with appleseed - quite light. Light mouthfeel, weak carbonation, finishes dry and surprisingly (appleseed) bitter. Nothing wrong with it, a little generic and unmemorable.

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Åre, Sweden, 21 March 2012) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with peaches, citrus and grass. Fruity taste with notes of peaches, apricots, canned fruit and grassy hops in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite nice and refreshing.

This one looks like a pilsener, with its crystal clear, sparkling golden body. The head is slightly off-white, long-lived and laces the glass very well. The aroma is fairly strong and is dominated by hops, but there are also malty traces in the back. It’s sweet fruity with peach, grapefruit and orange, and some refreshing herbs. Very crisp and clean! Moderate to light sweet taste with a moderate bitter finish that is quite long-lasting and slightly dry-ish. The hops are not surprisingly the main contributor to the fruity flavours: again it’s peach and citric notes, also bitter resin and herbs. The flavours aren’t as strong as the aroma, but still a very tasteful brew. Wonderful mouthfeel, the texture is creamy and smooth and the beer isn’t as light bodied as I often find pale ales with this low ABV. This is close to being the perfect session beer, I could easily drink this one all night!
[50 cl bottle, from Vinmonopolet Storo, Oslo]
