Eructoblaster (1477), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Nov 6, 2007 Bottle - 500ml. Pours a dark brown body with average carbonation and a fair off-white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with some grassy and biscuity/grainy hints. Its taste is dominated by hoppiness and ends with a sharp bitter finish. This is a decent "everyday" Irish Ale. DerWeg (748), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 31, 2007 Labelled Traditional Celtic. A very nice balanced ale with sweet meduim balance and nicely grainy finish. Hops in the supporting role. Good! SynergyXJ (506), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA Oct 31, 2007 Bottle Deep red pour with small head. Malty aroma and flavor. Not much hop, a bit in the aftertaste. Also some medicinal aftertaste. Smooth malty mouthfeel. Good session brew. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 30, 2007 bottle at the lcbo, not alot on the nose malts and some sweetness, amber color decent head but not long lasting, not a fan really didn’t really find any hops in this one, usually with beers from the british isles there is that nice even balance but this all i got was Malt and some medicinal flavor as well as slightly odd mouthfeel, happy to try it but not likely going to again Quevillon (1518), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Bouteille de 500 ml, acheté au LCBO d’Ottawa (Rideau et King Edward), sous le nom de Molings Traditional Celtic Beer.
Pours deep copper read with a nice tan head. Citric malt nose with malt backing. The taste is Nice, malty and roasty with caramel undertones. Nicely balanced with hops. A bit thin on the mouthfeel but its not a large detriment. Nice beer! caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Oct 27, 2007 Branded Molling’s Traditional Red Ale. Dark copper with a mildly frothy head. Seems a bit thin, but there’s a definite distinct malt and hops presence during the finish. Slightly bitter. Quite drinkable.
