0.33 l bottle, pours brown body with medium brownish head. Very nice aroma of some caramel and vinegar malts with some herbal hops. Flavor quite empty, watery, sourish but overall not so bad. Medium carbonation which is though not easily seen, but felt on palate. Short and watery finish. Quite plain.

Pint glass at Annie Bailey’s, Lancaster, PA...pours brownish-red in color...smell was mild, malty...taste was much of the same with some thin fruitiness to it...easy drinking beer...did it for the t-shirt, but I did enjoy it...a few of these would go down easy.

[580-20070906] Tap @ Irish Times (Pickering, ON). Brewery yeast aroma with some malt. Clear, red amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Yeasty malty grains flavour with a hint of caramel. Medium body is a little astringent. Very refreshing after a long hot walk, otherwise fair. (6/3/6/3/12) 3.0

[780B-20071026] 500mL. Some grainy malt and a bit of roasted hops aroma. Clear, dark brown red body with a quick creamy off-white head. Roasted coffee notes with a grainy bread base flavour and some chocolate notes. Medium body. Interesting, seems roastier the second time. (7/4/6/3/13) 3.3

Awesome color. Malty aroma rising from the head and a nice lacing going around the glass. Nice flavor that lasts well past the initial swallows.

Pours with a tannish head that disappears really fast. Reddish brown color. Smoky fruits in the nose. Some malts in the taste along with some smokiness and some fruitiness as well. Taste is really toasted/roasted (not sure which one it is). Not a bad beer... a little different from the standard Irish Ale.

(Bottle) Pours a reddish brown color with virtually no head. Dusty aroma, with light sweet caramel notes. Taste is basically the same, with an amount of astringency in the aftertaste. Hints of toffee and fruit as well. Light mouthfeel. A fine beer to try, but certainly nothing too exciting.

Very dark brown/black, thin off-white head. Nose is oily malt, slightly fishy, dark fruits, slight burnt. Flavor is sourish malt, too bitter, a hint of fruit in the finish w. some cocoa. I remember enjoying this in the past. Oh well.

Ruby in colour with above average carbonation. Aromas of vanilla caramels, a bit of fruit, and some malt. Surprisingly dry in the mouth, considering the malt forward aromas. Pale malt, minerals (especially chalk), a hint of roasted barley, and some light caramel. A pretty good session pint, but a bit too fizzy for my taste.
